    This is spot on, the new post Brexit work permit rules, is more about league rankings than where your from.

    So Argentina and Brazil have now become comparable to Belgium, Holland etc and if the team are playing in the Liberatos or Sudamerica they get bonus points.

    It is now actually easier to sign someone from there than say Norway or Sweden where they leagues are quite poorly ranked. Although international caps at first team or youth team level can also help there.

    We exclusively told how the Scottish champions are closing in on a deal for Lanus left-back Alexandro Bernabei.




    The defender missed his side's most recent league clash as he had business to conduct in Europe.

    Football Scotland has recently learned that business was not related to a potential move to Glasgow but his omission from the squad suggests the Argentine club are preparing for life without him.

    Tbf it's difficult to find height, pace and quality at full back.

    Height needs to be added at CB and in the midfield. Maybe a more physical winger too.

    Class. Wasnt 100% convinced by the first video I saw but each one since has been better and better. Desperate for this to happen now.

    Two things that jump out at me from that video: front foot defending, he's always trying to nip in in front of the defender and put them under pressure early, this will suit Ange to a tee; and composure/desire to play out, he looks brilliant at getting out of tight positions and starting attacks.

    I reckon he will be a sensational signing if it comes off.

    EDIT: Wouldn't surprise me if this guy is the reason we went cold on Jeahze. I wonder if Mark Lawwell came in and told us about this guy? Jeahze went cold and suddenly we were linked with three Argentinian LBs.

    If they improve the proposal, Garnet is willing to sell it.
