    Sean your correct. Although I had my doubts over sicknote and why Ajax listed him for a transfer, then his former colleagues slated him as soon as he walked out the door.
    This chap is very skilled but lightweight, Lambert/ Keane need more physical players ( what I heard from a Brummie).
    I've ordered a crystal ball from eBay, I'll let you know what it says.

    He played a lot of games for Ajax the year before he signed for us.

    He does seem really lightweight though, I have my doubts whether he will make it here.

    Berget is left footed as well is he not?

    Just realised this when I was wondering where this leaves him in the team. We basically have him, McGregor, Commons, Forrest, Boerrigter, arguably Pukki and now Tonev vying for places in the front 3 behind the striker if that is the system we are employing. Quite a bit of competition there and a few are going to left disappointed.

    Hope he's what we need for the qualifiers, but if Tonev is the only player we're planning on bringing in before Maribor, that will be disappointing.

    The guy is only here on loan... when Deila said we would be getting fresh faces in, I think we all assumed he meant permanent signings with a good bit of money being spent.

    I still want to see another centre half brought in before the play off round, but I won't be holding my breath.

    I'm not happy about loan signings myself but to be fair I think Tonev and Berget are loan to buy. I'm assuming that means we have agreed a price as well if it works out.

    Not really a loan as such just a try before you buy sort of thing. Hopefully...

    We can still register one more player before 11pm next Tuesday, so hopefully there will be at least one more signing through the door by then.

    If VVD does stay for one more season (probably depending on whether or not we make the group stages), we're going to need another reliable centre half to play alongside him. Ambrose is anything but reliable.
