Albian Ajeti

He's never getting into this team..

 

I was hoping he, like many others, would eventually hit the ground but I can see him getting anywhere near this team. Kyogo is now first choice striker and we're going to bring in another when Edouard leaves.

I'd sell for Ajeti for any price. He's only going to get farther away from this team. No point keeping him or dragging this out.

 

You would have to think that given he is not even getting some time off the bench right now that it would be best for him and the club if we can find a buyer and at least recoup some of the money we spent and he gets a fresh start.

Give them Ajeti for Nisbet and we can throw in Griff as well.

 

Total anticlimax, damp squib, etc, etc. I had high hopes for him right away, as well. Disappointing.

Our best hope is Basel sell their main striker Arthur Cabral and we could punt him back there as a replacement.

 

Has had a few chances and has not impressed. One of many who we should be trying to punt.

 

The boy should have been given a run of games towards the end of last season rather than start Edouard every game. It's daft you'd spend £5m and not give him a run when the season's lost and your other striker's head's already out the door. If he's any potential there, it's probably too late now for us to ever get it out of him.

 

Aye, should have had a run, along with Barkas and Soro, for the 10 dead rubbers but no, that halfwit Kennedy plays Eddy, Brown and Bain. Talk about clueless.

 

Offer them a swap, Ajeti plus cash their way, that cabral looks decent on paper

 

After 2 poor seasons I imagine most clubs won't want him, like Barkas I think a loan to buy is the best bet.

 

I think they would still want too much for him. Last year they were looking for £15m+ and you’d be lucky to get £2 or 3m for Ajeti now.

Oh absolutely, I'm not saying we would stand up for much with that offer, it might carry a bit more weight to them specifically but not that much

 

I think he's a good finisher. His lack of mobility won't work with our current style of play.

 

Literally no point to him or Griffiths being here. Pay them off and get another forward in we will actually play. Would rather see us get some of the youth team on the bench and field than persevere with experienced players that do nothing.

 

He’s been a disappointment so far but he is a natural finisher so at this point I’m just hoping he can grab 10 or so goals to help the cause this season.

The guy is too busy diving , looking for fouls instead of looking for goals. he is deadwood get rid
