He’s still been training every day, lockdown aside. With the travel restrictions he’s probably not been able to go back home. He’s on holiday with his family, which I think is fair enough.

His next move is massive. If he fails, he’ll be back at Basel or worse. So he has every right to weigh up his options.

Yeah but you'd think that could be discussed and agreed. As it is now, seems like we're being strung along.

    Maybe we’re doing something similar.

With the Toney situation still up in the air, - Ajeti taking his time is possibly ideal.

Hopefully it’s sorted soon though, along with a left-sided centre half, and another winger.

If he comes fair play but I agree when it looks like we are exploring more than one option at present and our season has started, it does seem odd if you were keen to ask for more time. I think if he is the main target if he hasn’t made his mind up before the end of Friday and a deal can be agreed for Toney or another then we will move on.

It's possible, but I really get the feeling it's the other way round and this would be wrapped up by now if we wanted it to be. Seems similar to the Forster/Barkas situation.

definitely seems to be the first choice option. id definitely rather him and Toney. Think hes just being cautious as the west ham move didn't work out and probably just wants assurances he will get game time.

Aye seems more of a penalty box striker which we need more than someone who drifts about imo.

Fair enough to him. Just had a full season of training to then get ignored by Moyes. Can't blame him for waiting the break, and he'll need it come the end of the season.

Worth baring in mind anyone we sign from England will be a few weeks of the pace and probably won't start for a month or so.

If Lennon himself is getting properly involved then he must really like the look of him.

Which is enough for me IF he does sign.

All this for a loan? Which will probably only be a year. Don’t see the point tbh.

I think it was an obligation to buy if he played a certain amount of games.

Celtic target Albian Ajeti is no rush to seal his move out of West Ham.

Parkhead chiefs have identified the Swiss striker as a potential signing and have spoken to the Londoners about a possible deal to take him to Glasgow.

Ajeti, however, has taken time out to consider his next move after a failed term with the Hammers following his £8million switch from Basle last summer.

Manager David Moyes is willing to offload the 23-year-old as he aims to make squad changes for the new campaign and, although a loan would be considered, a fee of £5million could land the striker.

However, Ajeti’s agent Arber Sakiri refused to discuss the interest from Celtic when contacted by Record Sport and offered no further updates on the position regarding his client’s next move.

He said: “For the moment, there is nothing to say. He is still a player of West Ham.

“It is normal that we have some calls here and some calls there and people are talking about this.

It is also normal that people are talking about something and some interest here or there, maybe that’s true. From our side, there is nothing to say.”

    Getting a tad embarrassing now.

He's had the best part of a fortnight to contemplate a 12 month loan move to kick-start his career again and still isn't sure. Time to move on.
