This sums it up, all the chat the window is open until October, as you say we will have completed more than 25% of our league campaign we could be completely out of Europe the way things are going.

We knew both Ajer and Ntcham were edging for moves 6 months and a year ago. If it wasn’t for COVID no one really thought Eddy would stay beyond this summer.

So there we have three first team players we knew would need replaced and in January we signed a DCM who hasn’t played any competitive minutes and a striker who is completely unproven and wasn’t even played when we had no other fully fit striker.

Shock now because a couple of others want to leave we are suddenly needing half a team. The poor prior planning makes this a nightmare scenario in a very important season.

May as well sign me up as I'll try more than Ajer. Problem is I don't have the ability.

McKenna is not the replacement for Ajer. We must aim higher.

I kind of expected them to go anyway.

Same, I've been saying for months that we could sell both and reinvest the proceeds to improve the squad overall.

It was obvious that both would angle for moves, for differing reasons. If laymen like us can see it then surely the club can.

It's negligence that a CB hasn't been signed up until now though, complete negligence. If Ajer is sold shortly then our only natural senior CB is Julien. In a season as important as this that isn't good enough. As usual our forward planning is found lacking.

The recruitment strategy is a shambles. Hammond is Congerton mark 2.

It’s certainly starting to look that way. Although it is hard to tell where the issues lie with us as there has clearly been interest in enough players but the execution and getting it over the line has been the problem.

It is already too late but efforts really need to be increased to get defensive recruits in and depending on Eddy’s situation we may need a striker urgently.

I want to be there. You wouldn’t have me in over Ajer though.

I hate to say it, but Sevco basically demonstrated how things can be done when bringing in Itten and the guys from Leeds at short notice. It’s been obvious that the perma-raged, fat Colombian bloke was leaving, and they’ve minimised the impact of that happening by getting a couple of forwards players in to replace him. Of course we don’t know if they’re any good yet, but it does show you that where there’s a willingness to get a deal done quickly, it can be done. You don’t need to negotiate for weeks/months on end, or even start the search only when you’re in desperate need of someone.

No question our recruitment or lack of, is a total mess, whilst we're thinking about it and dithering, the huns have got their business done, not saying their players will be a success, but nevertheless we are dead slow and stop, it's beyond embarrassing now.

I wouldnt go that far yet.

The 3 signings weve made this summer have been good on paper and the targets we have been linked with too.

The scouting and recruitment does need looked at aye, but so does a few things.

I think they have notified him that they were thinking of moving on so it’s gave Lenny something to think about selection wise being the man manager that he is he’s the. Tried to shoe fit them into side to try keep them happy ?

Wrong Morelos and Kent are the most overrated players in the league

Well McKenna is a close third, as he is a bang average defender with decent physical attributes but no positional sense and very little footballing ability.

I actually thought he was going to come good he kept dabbur quiet when he played for Scotland Aberdeen should have let him move on or at least qualified for group stage football to get him that test and experience

My source has told me Celtic are very reluctant to sell Olivier Ntcham as they are fearful this could lead to Odsonne Edouard becoming unsettled.

As for Ajer, the signing of Duffy has no impact on his immediate future.
