It's blatantly obvious we need to improve our defending at set pieces, it's made us incredibly vulnerable already this year.

It's also painfully obvious that we simply don't have enough in attack. I really like Leigh Griffiths and think he is a very good striker domestically, but is all round game is too weak for Europe. He doesn't hold the ball in to allow us up the pitch.

And you look at the difference between the 3 Ajax have behind the front man to ours.

El Ghazi - Fischer - Younes VS Commons - Johansen - Forrest

We score two goals and stop playing football. It's as simple as making subs earlier. Forest for 60 minutes max, then get him off the pitch. Same with any of the front 6.

When the chance is their to make a few passes or counter attack, they didn't know what to do and lost possession. It also took a long time to get it back.

Izzy was set up for the red card and the manager did nothing to stop it happening.

Something's not right with the half time team talk, because players don't look up for it second half.

    That's absolutely bollocks.

We were doing our job perfectly, until Izzy * it.

I recorded the game so just finished watching it, great result but at the same time feeling a bit disappointed we didn't win. Hopefully the turning point in our season.

Thought the lads did really well last night, all we wanted was a bit of passion and a better performance and IMO we got both. Defence is still suspect but I really believe that had Izzy not had his moment of stupidity then we would've went on and won the match, I actually thought there was more chance of us getting a 3rd than them getting an equaliser. On another night Griff would've tucked one of his chances away but any striker can have an off night, the lads hardly put a foot wrong since he was given his chance with us, so I for one wont be holding that against him.

at the risk of sounding over confident, if Molde can * on fenerbache 3-1 away from home I have every confidence we should get a win at home v that lot.

Aye parking the bus. But the midfield six didn't turn up second half, we go two goals up and Forest goes missing, everyone sits in deep. That's ok, but you still need a GMS brought on to deal with the pace of El Ghazi.

Everyone knew Izzy was likely to get roasted by this El Ghazi character. The old diving skills came out from Ajax and that was that. The cahnce to do something about it was gone.

We had chances at 2-1 to put the game to bed, so to say we were parking the bus is nonsense. I thought we were playing decent enough counter-attacking football. The red card costs us 2 points in my opinion, and Izaguirre has to take sole responsibility for his stupidity.

Everyone here is very happy and feel confident. But it seems u r missing 2 important things. First lack of players and second the team is new. fenerbahçe s goal keeper riberio played for the first time this year. Alves was out of the squad due to his injury. And our genius coach showed him up for the game, did anyone see him In . The second goal? .. Kadlec is our 4th defender. He had a fatal mistake in the 3rd goal. 1 st goal, the penalty is weird. Van persie is not ready he is still weak after 5 months of injury. Diego is injured also.. He is very important to dominate the game. He carries the ball to every part of the field. That's why fenerbahçe is out of balance. Yeah we missed a lot of chances and they scored 3 of their 4 attacks.. BUT THESE CANNOT BE THE EXCUSES. MOLDE IS VERY DICIPLINED, STRONG IN PHYSICAL CONDITION. THEY PLAY FORWARD AND FAST.. so they are not the weakest link.

So...just as we went out to prove a point after the defeat vs Aberdeen, you don't think Fener will have that same attitude when they play us in 2 weeks?

I think the Molde result last night was the worst result we could have had. I think Fener will come after us and we will need to be at our very, very best to get a result....and as for Molde, this little team from little Norway...in the qualifiers, they lost on away goals to Zagreb...the same Zagreb that beat Arsenal on Tuesday night.

ajax have a few young talents in their squad but we were compact and limited their chances good performance for the most part but we need to cut out the silly conceding from set pieces.

thought el ghazi and the young lad sinkgraven looked decent players.

Hence why I would say at the risk of sounding over confident.

I say that because typically turkey isn't an easy place to travel to get a result for the best of teams however Molde who no one would have thought could beat Fenerbache away from homr 3-1 did just so, that alone has to give us confidence that we could get a result against Fenerbache at parkhead.

I mean if Molde done that at home in Norway I wouldn't be all that surprised however doing it away from home could in hope show that Fenerbache have some serious flaws that we might just be able to exploit.

I mean christ if Molde done us in 3-1 at Parkhead, the negativity to come out of this forum would mean that the servers would be down and the site inaccessible for days at which point I highly doubt you or anyone else on this forum would saying because Molde got put out by a team that just beat Arsenal therefore it aint all bad, if anything it would be total opposite and everyone will be claiming that at home, at parkhead there should no such case or example whereby a team from Norway beats us 3-1 and would be calling and protesting for Ronny to be sacked.

We'd be * daft to underestimate Molde or Fenerbache.

We don't know if that game was a freak result last night, these things happen.

Man Utd, who have spent hundreds of millions on their team got beat by the team currently fourth in Eredivise, we got a draw against the team who are first, puts last night's result in to perspective.

We can definitely get something against Fenerbache, they aren't to be feared.

However we shouldn't go getting all confident and expectant just yet. They could be a different team in two weeks, as could we.

Ive absolutely no doubt we will slip up somewhere with at least 1 or 2 dodgy results in the group, but we will still go through, im now sure of that.
