    Im going as far to say with no champions league our player budget will be around 2 million. Thats spent on the keeper. If we never had to pay that out im sure we would have signed another player. Keep things tight, keep improving players and it will come good. Our teams so young, stay together we're gona start winning these games!

    a defeat like this might be just the perfect tonic in the lead up to the qualifiers, firmly focuses mgt and players that they are off the pace and serious work needs to be put in.

    another bit embarrassed our first team getting hammered by ajax second team, udinese and atletico madrid played reverse teams against us at parkhead last year in europa league

    fans on here need realise we are looked as really poor team now. anyone on here think we should be in champion league , need wake up and i prefer us be in europa league and have chance off winning games,

    The fact of the matter is, this was just an experiment. How many formations did we play? How many times did Lenny tinker with system?

    We were down to 10 men and this is just a pre-season friendly, used for fitness and to try out different ideas.

    The important thing is what we learn from defeats like this in a friendly.

    There is no real damage done.

    Yes it was just a friendly but it doesn't exactly fill me with confidence that our manager is trying out multiple new formations less than 2 weeks before a crucial Champions League qualifier. It gives the impression that he doesn't know what our best formation is.

    Playing 3-4-1-2 away to Ajax was irresponsible in my view, friendly or no friendly. We're not good enough to play such an offensive formation when we are playing away from home to a team like that. I suspect Neil Lennon knows he got it totally wrong on Saturday and that is why he later apologised for setting the team up the way he did.

    And thats why I'm happy he done it. It's a learning experience, we have 2 games before we play our first competitive game and he was trying it against quality opponents, away from home in preperation for a game that is een gurther away. More specifically, the away game of the qualifier against a team of lesser quality in Helsinki.

    I really wish pre-season was like the old days again, where the fans couldn't see this stuff.

    just back in the UK after watching the game....got tickets with the Ajax fans near to the Ultras...they created a good atmosphere and had some cool tunes...As for us, we were pish but still view it as a fitness build up....Rogne has one shocker and is now public enemy no 1?? only a few signings away from a decent team both domestically and in Europe.,...
