    Gets a much worse time off Ireland fans than he does Celtic fans, believe me.

    I've always rated him very highly but can't help but feel he hasn't quite lived up to his reputation. He has some amount of talent but I've always felt his final product has never been quite as good as it should be. I would still take him back at Celtic in a heart beat, think he's on a different level to any winger we've got.

    Could perhaps have went further as a player but he had a decent career in Russia and it just hasn't worked out at Everton. He's not been given a great shot at it.

    Have him here in a heartbeat. Was my favourite player during the strachan era, even ahead of Naka and Boruc. 07/08 season he was unstoppable at times.

    His move to Russia was money motivated by us and by him so its no-ones fault really I suppose, he just had that magic when he'd face a fullback and his feet were going 90 and he would get past him, his style is kind of unique he kinda shuffles then moves

    I read the Toffees are turning against Martinez now after his promising start. I think they were expecting to be challenging for a CL place. So if McGeady was excellent at Celtic, Russia and now Wednesday, maybe it was the manager's fault at Everton things didn't work out for him?

    I hear Aiden scored today and he's doing well with Wednesday. It is the Championship mind but still a decent level.

    We couldn't afford him btw, Everton's condition of a loan was the payment of his wages in full which are £60,000 a week.

    Koeman has basically said he doesn't want him at Everton. Big stumbling block for us would be his wages, unless he's prepared to take a massive cut.
