    Second half he was poor.

Bit good first half. He looks badly off form and lacking in confidence in front of goal.

Think we'd get more out of him alongside kyogo in that role again with kyogos movement.

While he was largely ineffective today, the only plus point is it gave Kyogo more space and gave their defence something to worry about. Just needs to do more think it's been 10 or 11 games since he scored which is a poor return.

Putting his below par form purely down to lack of confidence, simple as that.

I'd start with him and Kyogo again together no worries. Hopefully Dens park in a better nick midweek.

Very much a player who's struggling with confidence just now

He'll come good needs a run of games

Would be tempted to go with Kenny myself, but either way I hope we keep Kyogo where he was for midweek at least.

He’s absolutely crying out for 1 big performance and he’ll kick on from there, can see it a mile away.

Had a very good first half then faded. Enjoyed his link up play with Kyogo, as was said in the match thread it could be a good option for us again in the future.

Just badly needs to get back to scoring, which I've no doubt he will.

Drop him for the Dundee game

Start the front three that finished today.

Idah, just isn't a starting player level for us currently and is actually better being impactful as a sub if we need him.

The directness and dribbling of the other guys today was a lot more beneficial to us.

I worry that Idah doesn't have the commitment levels to be a truly big success here.
He is undoubtedly talented but a wee bit lazy, aka Edouard.

Somethings going to have to change if he's going to make it here.
Hoping Brendan can knock that into him and get his confidence back up, because it's a massive opportunity that will only come around once.

He doesnt get into enough good goalscoring positions for me. He always looking for a lay off or a flick or to come deep. Not really a goal scorer. Not sure hes ever going to be a prolific goal scorer.

How do you think he did with Idah? A lot of eyes were on that dynamic today.

Yeah, you have to give them credit. They had the will to want to make it work. Obviously, we haven't really done that before.

We normally play with out-and-out wingers, stretching the game, making runs in behind and then bodies on the inside. That was just a little structural change where he morphs on the inside. That can take a little bit of time.

But there were some moments, especially in the first half...

    For the goals?

Yeah, yeah. Adam creates that space for you. Absolutely.

So it was never going to be perfect, but it didn't need to be. We just found a way to have a go at it and challenge the players to make it work. And I thought they made it work really well.

He has been really poor all season to be honest. I don’t care about his fee, even if he just continued what he showed in glimpses in the second half of last season that would be fine but he has not even been anywhere near that and has been really poor in general. In every game he starts he doesn’t offer anything. No good link up, no real physical presence, no good hold up play and his first touch is crap most of the time. I thought Kenny looked good when he came on, would seriously consider dropping Idah from the squad for Dundee

Idahs link up was good today in fairness.

This kid just needs some support, and forget about his goal return.

First half he set up 2/3 great chances for others, and was only a fraction wide from opening the scoring.

He’ll be fine - and don’t forget he’s actually one of us

Once be gets a goal he'll be fine, it's 100% getting to him,

Would be tempted to start Kenny midweek either way, will be interesting to see how Rodgers sets up.

He did a lot of good things in the game tbf to him, he has a lot to offer, agree that right now he is lacking in confidence, convinced it will come good for him.

I thought he was decent first half but dropped off second half. Want to see more of him and Kyogo in the same team. Idah can create space for him purely by making runs and being a physical presence.
