Accusations of Racism at Celtic V Livingston

As per the guy at livi game, the young guys bobo heard at leverkusen game and my experience with that guy that day. Plural. More than one. Even though we are more tolerant than most clubs, especially with regard to race, it would be naive to suggest there aren’t fans who still spew racist bile. It’s difficult to quantify, but it’s evidently present at celtic park — no matter how infrequent an occurrence it is.

 

I think you should look for the many positive things our supporters bring to the table ,and there are many , you may even find being positive suits you better and it may even improve your outlook to the point you get laid m8 .

 

What in the name of the wee man is this?? I’ve been a celtic supporter since I was 5, son! Even have an Irish catholic surname like me da’s. What a strange post, joemc! Laid?? Beat women off with a * stick, me!

I agree the point above that there are SO MANY positives we could talk about in the Celtic support, which is excellent. There are a small number of things that are not positive, and if true, the allegation which is the topic in this thread would be one of these.

If the allegation is false then no action required. If the allegation is true, then it's about how we collectively respond. If we dismiss it, then we are not standing up to racism, we are bystanders.

While the issue is a negative - it can be a MASSIVE positive if it is handled in the appropriate way. It would be recognised, acknowledged and then dealt with. Massive positive.

I’ve been on this forum for 15 years so don’t need some mentalist suggesting I’m not a Celtic fan simply because I have no issue with someone calling out racism when they see it.
