Passing. Basic passing today was just shocking thru out. It looked like a gang of strangers playing for the first time.
That for a start is going to kill ye.

Aye I'm not saying he wasn't * you'll see in the Frimpong thread I've criticised him I just find it strange to single him out when everyone was equally as bad nobody was above a 5 or 6 out of 10 today especially when you compared him to someone who had zero chance of playing.

PS Greg Taylor is still * :tongue1:

Mate, are you on the same * planet as the rest of us ?
`* horrendous today, embarrassing for the lad.` ??? This young guy is NEVER `* horrendous` or embarrasing, and today, as in every game he plays, he gives his best. If he happened to not play his best today, that would be down to the * awful tactics of our manager who was once again tactically outclassed by a rookie manager. Get a * grip, pal.

The more I think about it, I think this is one of the worst Celtic games I’ve ever seen. Especially in the context.

Aye, This season means so much to the support and there is zero desire in the team which is worrying

Everybody saying it’s the worst performance they’ve ever seen.... seem to be forgetting the cup final and the games prior to that where they dominated us :56:

Truth is they are better than us.

They want it more than we do.

However... their maws work for DPD.

    * the dirty rancid orange *

Two of the biggest things I noticed from watching that. We were really timid in the middle of the pitch, in an attacking sense. With the wing backs being doubled up on our attacking width was stifled and it completely nullified our strikers. We’re also really poor in the air going forward, which is a big option to lose when things aren’t going well. We really missed Christie in the middle.

What does home advantage matter when your playing behind closed doors?

They are a better team than us on paper and on the field.

To play long-balls up to Elyounoussi, Paddy, Frimpong, Laxalt was insane. Proof that there was very little game plan.

The Huns have 6'3' CBs that want aerial balls. They don't want guys running at them, we've seen how much they struggle doing that.

Today was a total shambles all round. Not enough heart from the team that were picked but no clear and evident game-plan that took into account how previous recent games v them have went. We know their formation, we know their personnel, there's no surprises; a good manager has to find the tactics to beat them. When we have a wage and transfer budget that is bigger than them, we shouldn't be getting dominated game after game after game. The buck stops at Lennon.

Player for player you're probably right, although some might argue that point!! However, that team sheet doesn't show teamwork, desire, passion, tactics against our off form arguably more talented individuals. They have that in spades just now and we just look like a mob of disjointed loners

Ok the nerves are raw, we were pish but Frimpong had a mare and it wasn’t NL’s fault, although he does seem to be getting the flack for all the bad performances today. His passing was poor, caught on the ball, never went passed anyone, passed it back everytime etc etc. Now I know Ntcham was like an empty jersey and not helping, but the young fella had a poor game. At his age he shouldn’t be relied upon to make the difference but today, even although there were no fans, I think he looked frightened and overawed. He’s young, he’ll improve.
