Hail Hail the Celts are here
Aberdeen have done alright the past few years, despite being bottlers. Their record against Sevco has been appalling, yet they still finished 2nd, reached cup finals...

Hibs were patchy but played some terrific stuff at times. Lennon has really galvanised some spirit there.

Sevco have already won it obviously, and we’ve been lucky to get 7 in a row! Aye...

    1. Anyway, can Sevco actually mount a challenge to finish 2nd this year? Or will Gerrard be back down the road by January?

    2. Can the Dons step up and regularly take some points off of the other contenders?

    3. Are Hibs able to keep the momentum going and push on?

    4. As a complete outsider, will Steve Clark surprise us again with a full season under his belt?

    Thoughts?

Personally I think Aberdeen will always be bottlers and will probs drop to 3rd or 4th this season.

Hibs will still be patchy but will be up there shouting.

Killie will have a few surprising results again but top 6 at best.

And the Huns will start well but it will fade after the 1st bad result, probs old firm demolition day. Rodgers will shake hands with Gerrard at full time with that sorry but I told you look on his face.

I hope Hibs get 2nd, but it will be a battle of the best of the rest. Probably decided by results against Sevco separating them...

Couldn't care less as long as we continue to rule the roost.

Obviously I'd rather Lennon and Hibs came 2nd but it's an irrelevance to us.

I hope and think it will be Hibs. Also probably the huns in third and think Aberdeen will fall to fourth or lower. Their team is stale and almost no reinforcements

Sevco will likely manage second this time round. Aberdeen third.

I can see Hibernian taking a step backwards, unfortunately. They won't be able to replace what they're losing in midfield.

Hearts have Craig Levein as their manager and can therefore * off.

I think Statement fc have a good chance of finishing 2nd ahead of the plastic inflatables, with the Hibs gettin 4th.

The scum are nailed on for 2nd i think.

They were absolutely * dire last season and almost came second :43:

So you’d think they cant possibly get worse than last season especially having the 2nd biggest budget. But it is the huns we’re talking about so they will find a way to make an * of it hopefully.

What are folk basing the Huns finishing 2nd on? Are you privy to more than the one preseason game of managerial experience that Gerrard has? :56:

Recruitment will play a big part but Hibs will kick on again.

Probably them for the above reason unless Aberdeen pull the finger out.

On this subject , I must admit that when folk predicted Hibs coming up and being a force to be taken seriously , I thought it was utter madness . Oh how wrong I was .
We will see after 3 or 4 games how various teams will be able to perform . At this stage it's too unpredictable to say . I hope Jam Farts struggle , and Sevco disappear down the tubes . Fingers crossed .

Unless the players they've brought in are as * as the last batch, which would be difficult surely, I'd expect Sevco to be improved on last season, so they should be at last pushing Aberdeen. Most important is obviously our continued domination, but it would still be funny to see them slip further down the table.

You could only see them getting better. Hibs and Sheep will battle for 2nd.

Suspect there will be two gaps next year

A gap of 9-12 points between ourselves and then.

A gap of 9-12 points between them and 3rd.

Like it was during MON’s tenure.

I suspect the Tribute Act will be better than last season and scrape 2nd.

I'd like it to be Hibs, (a) because of Lenny and (b) one of my bosses at work is a Hibs fan and I'd enjoy the banter.
