Astana's defence was all over the place!

Hopefully this draw will prompt PL to get the chequebook out.

If Efe doesn't play, Gordon will. If Gordon can't, I'm sure someone will step up o the plate. It's the Celtic way. :54:

Not bothered about being away for the return, a nervy Celtic park can be a hindrance at times...

Brendan to implement his game plan without too much stress..

A clean sheet and 2-0 would be perfect..

They must have something about them to get this far..

Olympiakos were 3/10 to win the home leg against these and Even money to win the return leg after a 0-0 in the first.

Polite reminder to keep the conversation about football. If you want to talk about the conflict in Palestine/Israel, please do so in the appropriate part of the forum.

I'll take it. Could have worse. Just happy we avoided Copenhagen.

Get in! Happy we avoided Dundalk in all honesty, want to see them get through. Don't think Be'er Sheva are that good, compared to Maribor and Malmo anyways.

They have Maor Melikson in their midfield, we wanted him a few years ago. Good player, played in Poland and France.

Need to get the job done at home , they have a very compact tynecastle esque stadium that's right on top of the pitch and it creates a lot of noise . We don't need this game on the edge in the away leg

We should be heavy favorites here no matter what excuses people will start to make. With players like Eric, Kolo, Roberts and Griff in our team they should struggle to score as well as have their hands full containing us.

Remember that the team that played against Red Imps was very different than the team that played against Astana, Rodgers is learning who he can trust and by the time these games come around I imagine we'll have a very strong starting 11 playing that are playing well and he's happy with.

That's bad, it'll be impossible to play them there. Our players will fall like flies.

Not a bad draw. If we arent good enough to beat this team then we're not good enough for the group stages. Probably better being at home first, wont be as nervy.
