Have to agree with @Jo-Jo-Buffon re Popstar. :50:

Easily one of, if not the funniest movie of the decade. Spinal Tap for today.

Honestly I love the fact that there is such a wide variety of films that resonated with such a wide variety of reprobates on here, lol.

You should experience it with the audio description, with the guy who did the AD on double duty, doing the translation also, each character with unique accent or inflection so to know who is saying what. So like the original cook was with a thick scottish accent, the original chauffeur with a southern drawl & so on. It was hilarious, lol. At least, it was like that when it was at the cinema.

Couldn't get into that movie at all. The gf thought it was great but I just got bored during it - besides the ending, that was decent.

It's amazing how opinions can differ, for me it's one of the best movies ever made, there is so much going on, funny, tragic, social commentary, brilliantly written and superbly acted.

But it's different stokes for different folks i guess. :50:

100% agree with you and there's a kind of irony to it as well considering my pick was Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was my pick and that has * all happening until the last 20 mins.

Yeah, I can't out a finger on why. Just don't have the love for it that lots of people do.

Funnily enough, I kind of felt the opposite way, about the ending. It just seemed to come out of nowhere and random, compared to what was such a well thought out story to that point. By contrast there are those that really only liked the ending of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which is a shame as that has so much gold throughout also. As @The Prof said, different dstrokes for different folks. :)

Yeah totally agree, one thing i really enjoyed was that it was something different instead of the same old movie plots you see done over and over again, originality is such a rarity these days.
