    If you have not seen this film i would recommend it , BP had to pay $4 billion in criminal fines and penalties, the largest criminal resolution in US history

    And with that, we begin to touch on the movies that recieved at least 1 '1' vote. Considering 22 of the next 27 movies had at least 1 '1' vote, really it was always inevitible.

    So question - should we continue tonight down to 20 , or do the reveal for all tomorrow, so everyone's number 1's will get revealed in the one evening?

    I can only imagine many haven't given it only finished 33.
    I actually know a lad that was on that rig/platform that day. I'm sure I read that its estimated the total cost to them will be up about 60 billion in fines/comp/clean up costs etc.

    Just finished this, and it's definitely worth checking out. Very well written (what else did you expect from Sorkin), and the performances are also very commendable, most notably Mark Rylance & Yahya Abdul-Mateen, but across the board all very good, Eddie Redmayne, Frank Langella, Sasha Baron Cohen, Mark Strong et al.

    If you've not caught it, there is a seminal aspect that is only briefly touched on in the film, about the murder of Fred Hampton by the police. If you've not seen Judas and the Black Messiah (2020), would highly recommend this, as it goes into considerable depth about that.

    Unrelated, but speaking of films about extensive miscarriages of justice, there is another that slipped my mind when doing the nominations for this, which was Just Mercy (2019), also worth checking out.
