its a long way away yet but when we get beat 4 - 2 by 'them' and possibly miss out on Champions League last 16, something must be up.

we all know the board are tight * when it comes to handing out the cash, but i think they will hear 'Barcelona' and instantly give WGS the cash to get Sylvinho and Jeffren Suarez in January.

i think Sylvinho could do an Heskey at celtic and get better with age.

Jeffren Suarez, only seen him play a couple of times but looks a great prospect and the Barcelona manager has put him in the first team this season.

both want to play for us but we will wait and see.

im guessin, but expect to see a couple of SPL players join us in the summer. one will be good, one will be a flop. Killen (flop) and Robson (good) examples.

    Reynolds and Clarkson from Motherwell.

    Stewart and Kingston from Hearts.

    Stevenson and Zemmama from Hibs.

    Mulgrew back from Aberdeen.

    Black from Inverness Caley.

or anybody else considered high quality... in the SPL.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

unrealistly, id like to see us take players off Spurs hands if they go down, which looks likely, and Newcastle, but they should save themselves.

any thoughts on our realistic goals in compitions and the transfer market?

Selling Lee Naylor would be a start.

I hope your spot on mate, them five would be on the first minibus out of celtic if i had the choice.
Dont think we will see many coming in other than the two from barca being talked about, imo we will see a few brought into the first team from reserves.

Would like to see a decent CB brought in and for McManus to be regarded as back up.

Mate it's a bit early for talking about next season already.
Have you given up hope so soon?

We're top of the leauge and are still in every cup competition we've entered.

Yes the team hasn't done well in the Champions League this year but we're not out of it yet.
The most likely scenario is that we might drop into the UEFA cup which is still European football.
That's a lot more than any other Scottish team can say just now.

As for those SPL transfer targets, I don't think Celtic will sign any of them.

I hope we aim a wee bit higher than SPL talent next year. They are good when mixed with quality but when the become the entire team we drop to tha level.

After the results of the last transfer window, I wouldn't like to cast any opinions on anyone!

every player we buy from a spl club brings the standard down a notch and with the present lack of leadership off the park as well as on it it is clear for all to see that our standards have plummited and are continuing to do so

We are top of the SPL and competing for 4 trophies. A lot will depend on how this season goes, i genuinely have no idea. Will we even have the same manager?

what is crap, is the very poor crap, we are being fed to watch, uninspiring dross with the lethargic application our players are showing, which is down to the manager, he 'watches them every day', he tells us, is he not watching them in competitive games,
what really scares me is some ''modern day'' celtic fans acceptance to accept the mediocrity our team is playing now, and have for a while. making excuses for people who are not up to the job, threatening the progress of our club at the highest level , were we belong.
