    If you work 2 jobs my understanding is that if 1 job is full time then you pay 20% tax on 1 of the jobs, is this the same if the 2 jobs are part-time? is it still 20% tax on 1

    Probably get your tax allowance on job 1 and pay tax on full amount earned in part time job 2??

    Used to have 3 and iirc you designate one as your main job (highest earning) and your allowance is based there. Expect to be hammered on the 2nd one with an incorrect code. You may get a sizeable rebate though.

    If you earn roughly the same in both jobs you can request the same coding on both by providing HMRC an estimate of your earnings and in effect have the same personal allowance (amount you can earn prior to being taxed) on both jobs.
