It was a short-lived completion held in Dubai as a de-facto British Super Cup.
A good idea, in my opinion, to have an annual pre-season curtain raiser between the Champions of England and Scotland but it failed because it was held overseas and in a state which was - to all those youngsters out there - rather undeveloped at the time and not a tourist destination.
