I agree he is horseshit barely capable of being number 2

    Don't talk bollocks.

Zaluska is a good 'keeper and is more than capable of being our number 2. Don't think he's quite good enough to be number 1, though.

He's not really saying that. He is saying he is good enough to deputise if Forster goes - deputise meaning fill in. He is being ambiguous over the no1 postition. He can hardly come out and say 'if Lurch goes, we need a new goalie, Zaluska is *'.

Harsh. He's a good keeper just not good enough to be or number 1, especially since we've got Forster. Even though he'll be off.

Every time he is in goals he never looks comfortable. If Forster was to get injured can you honestly say you would feel ok with Zaluska in goals against barca or Milan?

"We have a list of goalkeepers that we have our eye on but Lukasz can certainly deputise no problem," said Lennon.

I see no issue with this statement. He is not, however, good enough to be our Number 1 short, mid or long term.

Not good enough to be no.1. Hate the thoughts of big Fraser going but it's going to happen.

i think he is more likely suggesting that zaluska could stand in for the qualifiers while we bring in a number 1 once qualification is secured

He's hardly going to say he thinks he's not good enough is he? That'd be a kick in the balls.

I'm unsure if it will be secured with Zaluska between the sticks

Thankfully the team won't need to rely on your uncertainty or else we'd be going out and signing 3 world class keepers if Forster moves on.

Zaluska is more than capable of playing for us in the SPL - probably one of the 3 best in the league. In Europe he will do more than fine for qualifying. I wouldn't expect him to make any howlers - no more than any other competent keeper - but we would most certainly need to be aiming for a better all round keeper should we make the CL Group stages.

Nothing wrong with Lennon's statements on this one, surprised some fans have their knickers in a twist about our manager suggesting that our player is good enough to play for us.

Zaluska is decent to come in for games but not good enought to be no1. Ive noticed when playing a lot of the time he dives with the wrong hand to save shots and he's a bit too stiff and not agile enough to be that good.

That makes it look like he said we would definitely sign a goalkeeper. He only said we would if Forster leaves.

We will definitely be signing a new #1 if Forster departs in the summer, rest assured.
