Celts Bhoys Go for International Attack

    Scotland vs Argentina

Scotland play the might of Argentina as Diego Maradonna, possibly the greatest ever player to grace this land makes his international debut against a slightly depleated scotland squad. After the drop outs of Kenny Miller, Barry Robson, Craig Gordon ,Ross McCormack to name a few, Scotland boss George Burley had a massive uphill task to overcome the Argentinians.Scotland, made up of five Bhoys from the scottish champs Celtic , Scott Brown will be looking to continue his great form this season as he would surely take his place among the Scots eleven to start, Paul Hartley, the celtic saviour after his wonder goal in the 86th minute against Hamilton at the weekend would also be a strong contender to start for George Burley's men.In the heart of Scotland's defence is Celtic's own Gary Caldwell and Stephen McManus, both have been instrumental in Celtic's four point gap over rivals rangers in the league with some world-class performances. Shaun Maloney, Celtic's prodical son has also been in good form in his second debut season for the hoops, scoring three goals along the way, he too will also be hoping of a start for Scotland.

Elsewhere Scott McDonald, Celtic's top- goal scorer last season unfortunatly will not be making the trip to face Bahrin as he has a virus and will not travel due to these reasons, Another Hoop who may not turn out for his country is Georgios Samaras, the tall talisman has been out for the past month with an ankle injury and will not be risked by the greek national side,

German Andreas Hinkel will be looking to push himself into the german side for the international "friendly" against England, Hinkel also has been putting in performances as of late and is hopeful that the german coach Joachim Low would have noticed this.

Shunsuke Nakamura will be the furthest Travelling Bhoy this week as he plays for Japan in the World cup qualifier agianst Qatar, Nakamura, who is carrying a knee injury, must hope to come through that match unscaved if he is to have any say in Celtic's European Tale next week when Celtic play Aalborg in a winner takes all match in Denmark.
