Not his best game on Sunday but still a decent shift. Won about 5 comers himself. And none of them could really get the ball of him. Hes got that expectation now if he doesn’t score or assist he’s not had a good game. His crossing is pretty 50/50 so needs a bit of work but has created plenty in games and they’ve just not been finished.

Jota never scored or assisted that much when settling in. Hopefully he'll develop just like him. If so, we'll end up with the strongest left wing in my life :56:

I do think he has to show more end product. We've been built around high end product wingers such as Jota, Kuhn, Maeda and even Palma to an extent.

Not sure Maeda would fall into that category. He took a while to get going for us and is a very different type of player to the others, including Seb.

Tounekti's dribbling and threat is enough to create space and chances for others as he's now getting doubled up on, even if he isn't adding to his goals/assists he's a key player for us. Hopefully he can add that final bit to his game still though.

    It's a funny one.

Maeda's final ball and finishing are huge issues but if you look at his end product statistically it's brilliant. He's here close to 4 years now in January and he must be well north of 50 G/A in that time. His movement, anticipation and decision making are probably key to having that so high up.

For me where Tounekti goes down is probably not so much his end product in simple terms. It's not as if he keeps getting into great positions and missing chances or his final ball keeps being poor. It's probably his decision making, it's probably his lack of anticipation in getting on the end of things. He tends to not release the ball earlier when he should. Hopefully it will improve as it's very difficult to carry an out of form team.

He's certainly got a Jota-esq quality on the ball to get round players and get into dangerous positions.

Just needs more work on keeping his head up and finding options so we can see end product from him.

With the right set up, assuming Jota comes back firing. We could have two fantastic wingers who could queue up play for instinctive players like Maeda and Kenny to latch onto.

Or alternatively if Osman keeps up with his promising performances, we could have a tricky, ball playing front three who could really open up space for each other and start spreading the goals.

He obviously can't yet but it'll be good for him to learn a few things off Jota when he's back fit..

Very similar when facing a man up but needs a bit of fine tuning infront of goal..

I really like him. Bit surprised by how mixed some folk are. He's one of those who, even when it's not coming off, takes the ball and tries to create. Might not have great numbers so far but he's created a lot of chances, or played a part in other goals.

Jota numbers came from a free flowing team full of confidence and goals from everywhere in the team so a bit unfair to compare atm with how the whole seasons panned out so far but I believe he will come good but time may run out when Jotas back up to speed!.

Jota also benefitted from a flying Kyogo's insane movement dragging defenders all over the shop. The pace of that front 3 who started at the weekend will help him out tbf.

Luck has turned against Celtic's professional player, Sebastian Toncti (23 years old), once again, as an injury has prevented him from attending the " Eagles of Carthage " camp, currently being held in the capital, Tunisia, in preparation for facing Mauritania, Jordan and Brazil, in friendlies, on the 12th, 14th and 18th of November, respectively.

According to exclusive information obtained by Al-Araby Al-Jadeed website on Tuesday, Celtic management sent an official letter to the Tunisian Football Federation, including a medical report highlighting the need for the young star to rest for ten days due to the lingering effects of an old thigh injury.

The injury is not considered serious, but rather a result of the great fatigue that player Sebastian Tonckty felt during the past months, coinciding with his transfer from Hammarby of Sweden to Celtic, and his direct entry into the atmosphere of competitions in the Scottish League, without having made preparations for the new season with his current team, which prompted the medical staff of the Scottish team to force the player not to train at the present time, and to give him a period of rest in order to avoid his condition worsening.

Tounkti had suffered the aftereffects of this injury during the last two training camps of the Tunisian national team, and missed most of the matches, despite his constant presence on the roster. The data obtained by the “Al-Araby Al-Jadeed” website indicates that the technical director, Sami Trabelsi, and the national team doctor, Suhail Al-Shamli, agreed to Celtic’s request, with the aim of preserving the player’s health, before the important dates that await the team, such as the Arab Cup and the African Cup of Nations.

think we have been so starved of creativity for so long that tounekti being able to beat a man stands out so much that we may rate him higher than we should. i like the way plays but his shooting and crossing is nowhere near good enough .we definitly need a lw , id imagine maeda will be off, i cant see jota being match fit for quite some time and balikwisha is pish. even if its a loan untill the summer we cant rely on tounekti alone hes away for afcon too we need someone

It's probably just an agreement between the two teams to rest him.

Mind he has been playing since February or something.
