Maloney could be a great fit to coach him in that regard

Maybe I was to focused on his individual play and not seeing the bigger picture.

Important to get a goal before Sun..

    His confidence should be high

I was glad to see him tuck away his chance for the goal as sick of seeing guys in one on one over the last few months only to miss. A goal will also do his confidence the world of good.

On his end product, I think there is an element of simplifying things at times that would make him more effective. He sometimes tries to take on that extra man or shoot from a ridiculous angle where if he added that occasionally just burn your man using pace and fire it across it would keep the defenders guessing.

He has the tools to become a very good player, hopefully we can help him polish up and he will kick on. Sarrachi’s energy also helped last night as it meant he couldn’t just get crowded out because there were others there too in support.

When Jota is back, we are stacked in that right-footed LW role. Need the same on the opposite side/foot in January.

Will be an interesting match up Tounekti against Tavernier. Could be one of the more crucial 1v1 battles on Sunday.

Hope they play a back 3 again, he’ll get so much space down the left

If they do that then it's a ball over the top all day

Think he may start on the right today.

Given MONs keep it simple and do what works best approach the other night I wouldn't be surprised to see Daizan back on the left doing what he's done to that gimp Tavernier so many times before.

It would also completely throw them off tactically to see our biggest threat on the opposite side of the park. Again I can see that being a MON tactic

We had some standout performers today. Tounekti stood out in the wrong way, though.

His lack of a final ball is brutal.

He needs to seriously work on his final ball, the good thing is he makes the good decisions and has the right idea but just un able to do it. He’ll only improve though.

Still think we would get more out of him on the right

Got lots of natural ability needs to add the finishing touch, I don't know how a right footed winger can't play on the right side though especially when we've struggling for that position

Struggled today, overly tentative and final ball not great.
I think he was just nervous, it will come for him.

Couple training sessions with Jota and he will know what’s needed
