Tbh you learn a lot about a manager as well when he literally tries exactly the same thing four times in a row (three of which with diminishing returns) despite it being obvious that they had figured us out and we needed some slight changes. Did the same vs Bodø, Leipzig and others. Being consistent with a system is good; refusing to ever make any micro-changes within that system is just foolish.

Push the wingers in a bit, have the full-backs overlap and put pressure on wide, and we’d have a lot more scope for connecting with meaningful passes, and wouldn’t lose the ball as much. It’s not rocket science, but he’s above it, apparently…

I can't be bothered to be annoyed at this. I remember last season them getting a draw at ours and they thought they had us sussed.
We do probably need to be pragmatic sometimes but what can you do. A half fit Hatate and any O'Riley will likely be over powered when they play 3 defensive midfielders.

Today's result has been coming what was disappointing was the lack of fight and intensity from the team, They was no player inspiring others to do better it was so passive you could see that the players didn't seem that bothered the way the match was goimg.

We used to beat them in dead rubber games in the 90's. Can't remember many laps of honour though.

Honestly not bothered much. Performance was bad but I think this shows us where certain players are for us and where we got to improve to move forward. All well criticising the lineup and bad performance but some of the reactions here and other places have been funny. We've won the league and are on course for a treble.

 

Pressure was off. They can't do it when it matters. In a few weeks we'll have done another clean sweep of trophies in Scotland.

Disappointed but it's not gonna ruin my day.
