    One of the best things about winter is warm desserts and custard.

    It's been like 30 years since i've scoffed that...years since i've had custard....and i love custard...If my 1970s childhood is anything to go by..I vaguely remember custard powder before we bought it in tins???

    I did home economics for 12 weeks or some * in first year before we sorted that nonsense out and we moved on to the classics.

    Anyway I got singled out by Mrs King one day and asked how one would make custard? I’m * twelve nursing a wee chubby semi whilst staring at a girl in the class I fancy and the old bag asks me this!

    so I say “custard powder” and she * threw me out the class and grassed me to my father at the golf club.

    how the * else do you make the skanking stuff?

    * boot!

    in short, I hate custard

    Agreed- warm puss.

    (although don’t mind the jelly-like stuff you get in a real Danish Pastry.
