Feel sorry for this guy, had absolutely no luck at all since he joined us. Impossible to tell what he could offer.

 

I'm not sure what he achieves from going to another European club..

Best to go back to Japan and actually play.

 

Could be worth getting him out on loan for the second half of the season to get regular minutes, he cost us next to nothing and still has 3.5 years left on his deal, unless Ange thinks he's completely done I wouldn't rush to write him off after two bad injuries hampering him the last year, we've seen almost nothing to judge him by.

 

Ange not giving up on him. Must still feel there's a player in there.

 

The guy has been unlucky with injuries, but he has been here for 1 year now and contributed nothing, move him on.

 

Loan would be ideal. Not giving up on him just yet.

 

Poor guy. Exactly the same happened to him when he went to Leeds.

Still think it would be better to cut our losses regardless.

 

More likely no one has came in with a permanent offer..

There is zero chance he'll play for us again. Nowhere near good enough..

 

Good shout. Yeah that could be the case especially with Iwata in now who I personally think is miles better and brings more to the table.

 

Aye Ideguchi was very one paced and seemed quite weak..

Iwata looks the opposite and with much more potential..

Hopefully we can get a permanent deal but if it's a loan, he still won't be back..

 

Have to feel for him, had no chance with the timing of his injuries, set him back miles while others firmly established themselves. If Ange thinks he still has a future here and could regain some form a loan to get him playing regularly and build himself back up would be a good move, even if he's not going to make it here getting decent game time elsewhere should make it easier to offload him in future.

 

Ideguchi was a player whose form was trending downward when we bought him, he had a good season his first one back in Japan but struggled in the second one.

Iwata is completely different just had the best season of his career and won player of the year.

Hopefully he goes somewhere with the option to buy. I am surprised we haven’t been able to find a buyer in the J league for him.

 

Said this before but I don't know how we could know for sure if he's good enough, his chances here have been almost none on account of his horrendous luck with injuries. Impossible to tell.

 

Would like to see him stay in Scotland. Hardly had a chance to see what he can offer.

 

He's a very tidy passer of the ball tbf but that's about it. No ill will towards the guy but i think he'll end up back in Japan at some point for one of the poorer sides in the league.

 

Ange sees him every day in training. If he’s not playing, there’s good reason.

As much as I've got a bias towards our Japanese guys and refuse to see any faults in them.

Ange sees them everyday in training and knows them far more personally than I do and even with injuries; he's had enough time to get back into the team and there has been games where he could have seen minutes.

Sadly he hasn't and I think this will end with him returning to Japan

 

He’s got more caps for Japan than any of the other Japanese players at the club.
