We're being quoted as 2 mil for Nesbit, I feel we can do better than someone who will come in and be just back up

 

Sure, my bad. Still, it's a comparable situation. If it weren't for Nisbet's injury, we might have signed him at about the same age we signed Griffiths.

It looks like it’s 60/40 if Celtic fans think nisbet would be good for us or not. But at least he’s Scottish. We have so many Japanese and now Korean forwards that if we lose any of them to the Asian cups etc we are screwed

Asian Cup is 16th June to 16th July in the off season. I would take him for 2 mil same as Millwall offered 8 league goals in 7 games this season is a good return.

if he played in a foreign league with a record like that we would be creaming ourselves as fans.

I'd rather Maeda than him. I'd argue Maeda playing through the middle would score just as many as Nisbet.

For what it’s worth I’d take him, low risk signing who will score loads in the SPFL. Also we are not sure how Oh will settle, an injury to Kyogo and we could be *.

I wouldn’t be surprised if its the huns. They have said that they want a striker, likely can't afford one now so have said they will buy him in the summer as they are skint

 

If he's a Tim, he'd rather go to Millwall than Raccoon City. I don't believe zombies can afford him. Hibs will charge a league opponent tax to us or the zombies if a domestic bid comes.

Arguably yeah. Maeda still scores a few (and assists) when playing on the wing. Play him centrally and I think he'd score quite a few more. Nisbet has obviously come back from an injury and hit a good streak of scoring in the past few weeks, but I feel Maeda offers more. This is before you take Kyogo and Oh into consideration too. I just don't think we really need Nisbet. Happy to be proven wrong if he does end up joining us, of course.
