If he's from Busan, he'll be handy at slaying zombies, no? :fear:

Dont see it mate, Ki in contrast to being raw, was cultured and fairly accomplished technically despite his young age when he joined us.

Kwon Hyeok-kyu’s agent insists the midfield is keeping his options open amid links with Celtic.

Reports in Korea has suggested he 21-year-old, who plays for Busan IPark in K League 2, had received an offer from Ange Postecoglou's side.

However, Celtic have plenty of depth in the centre of the park following the arrival of Tomoki Iwata and an arrival now appears unlikely.

The player’s agent said stated there has been interest from Europe but refused to open the door to an imminent exit telling Cho Sun

Scouts from small and medium leagues in Europe are looking for talent in the K-League. Unlike in the past, players also want to take their place on the European stage through stages rather than going directly to the big leagues.

Big man looks solid in the tackle and good feet on the ball, only 21 as well.

Think we'll have a double announcement later with a deal supposedly agreed for the other Korean boy as well.

At the end of the K-League transfer market, Kwon Hyuk-kyu's move to Celtic also rose rapidly. Hyuk-kyu Kwon has been a major target for Celtic, which has aggressively recruited talented young players from Asia such as Hyun-kyu Oh, Kyogo Furuhashi, Daizen Maeda and Leo Hatate. In December of last year, I handed over the 'first proposal'. Celtic offered a fairly large transfer fee, not a simple intention to recruit. At the time, the transfer was not made due to the circumstances of the team. Kwon Hyuk-gyu did not disappoint and showed more mature skills in the K-League 2 this season. He played 19 matches as the main defensive midfielder and scored 2 goals. Based on his excellent physique of 1m90-83kg and stable ball control ability, he earned the nickname 'Rodri (Man City) of the K League'.

Celtic, who had been keeping an eye on Kwon Hyuk-kyu since he was playing for Kim Cheon Sangmu (2021-2022), did not give up on recruiting and approached again this summer. Celtic, who achieved a domestic treble last season, reached out again as part of a midfield reinforcement plan ahead of the 2023-2024 season. It is said that he offered an increased amount than last winter's offer. With this, Kwon Hyuk-gyu has been given the title of 'the first European from Busan youth'.

I don't understand our recruitment at the moment. We are flooding our team with players who could be something. Not only that if these players do play well we are gonna lose them all for the Asia Cup.

None of these signings or potential signings can be Rodgers players either.

    You moaning again :56:

The club has clearly been tracking these players for years like Tilio. We have a transfer strategy. It doesn't change because of the manager.. they come and go..* *

    Another project signing if so.

Which is fine but really need some experienced quality in. Or some up and comers from a good European league.

    This doesn't really excite me.

I must admit I'm also a bit concerned about the Asian Cup ngl.

Just noticed his team finished 10th out of 11 in the Korean 2nd division last year.

This is like the project of all projects :giggle1:
