He'll be 28 come January, and he isn't fully first choice for us. I can understand him wanting to explore different options.

Would be wanting at least £10 million for him.

I said this was gonna happen because of his age nothing to do with money on offer it’s to do with it being the last part of his career asi n last big move for any of the top five leagues juranovic in same position

Mite be to do with money but think it's much more to do with the manager making it perfectly clear to him since the summer that he is 2nd choice regardless of performances

I’ll be gutted if he goes, personally.

Been crying out for a striker like him for about 20 year.

    Possibly..

20+ mill for two of our 'older' assets would represent good business and allow Ange to go out and hopefully find better..

Would miss both though. I seem to be in the minority on here who rate Juranovic massively and probably prefer Jackie as the starter out of him and Kyogo..

I reckon we've lowballed him and JJ but then that's just years of being traumatised by Pistol Pete. Tbh I'd be gutted if he went. I don't think it's a coincidence our best results against the huns have come with him starting

Surely he hasn’t took a pay cut to come here from venlo, not having that. Whatever it is he’s on right now is gonna be an okay amount. He was the eredivisie top scorer with the relegated team. Still can’t believe no other team in Holland came in for him tbf when you look at the numbers. He’d have been able to demand a good wage here otherwise he’d have offers elsewhere that would pay up

Most will start playing the board soon for more money or want away the more success we are. It's just inevitable. * thou because Ange will want to build a team and stick with it. In saying that though, Ange will be the same soon. He'll be gone once gets an offer he can't refuse.

Beginning of the end for Ange if that's the board up to their old tricks and penny pinching over wages etc.

His exit will only be expedited if the rumours of the fat accountant returning to take chairman's job are true.

Should be giving him a decent wage. He’s the only striker who’s shown he’s capable of performing against Sevco.

Agree with the latter, Giakouamkis is a better striker than Kyogo for me, albeit I think Kyogo is a better over-all player. In a perfect world we rotate with both, but I understand Giakoumakis wanting to go elsewhere where he'd be paid more and be first choice.

Disagree on the Juranovic bit, I'm a Ralston man :ange2:

His scoring record was * before that, that's why bigger teams weren't in for him, we were taking a real punt that he's a late bloomer and it wasn't just a one off fluke season, he could be on a relatively low wage.

It has the distinct feeling of a planted story by the Daily Hun to unsettle the Celtic support, post Beale.

    Not buying it.

if hes going and thats a big if (* the daily record) then it will be because we have recieved a massive offer for him ,not because hes suddenly not happy with a contract that he signed till 2026

If the player wants to go then punt as we have learned the lesson of keeping players who don't want to be here .
I really think we need two quality strikers for next season in Europe as we saw the chances we were missing.
