Said it before. He can't be aloud to just hang around forever based on nothing more than being homegrown. He's not john Kennedy

Be interesting to see how we approach this window and the summer.

We already know Juranovic is leaving, probably in January, but I think O'Riley and GIakoumakis will leave next summer too.

Watching the size and stature of those Serbians at the World Cup, by * I’d like a few of those hard * in our team. Technically fantastic, athletic and as hard as *. Perfect for our team to compliment the superb ball players we have.

It feels/sounds like Tobi is the future number 1 in a couple years if he continues to step it up, it's just a matter of who's number one for those years til then?

Hart clearly is currently, but unlikely to see more than next season out of him, he's brilliant, move the big man, but has his moments of stupidity it would seem and I think/fear that's only going to get worse/get more obvious as we go. Is Seigrist capable of stepping up that level to be a solid number one for the next 2-3 seasons as Tobi develops? Perhaps, but he needs to find his place in the side and take it off Hart if he is to do so

I certainly though, wouldn't be looking to sign another keeper in the upcoming window. Striker and s midfielder in the calibre and ability of McGregor and Hatate is a must, preferably one with a bit more bite to their game as well.
But we badly need depth in that middle that is on a par with our starting trio of McGregor, Hatate, O'Reily.
Mooy, abildgaard and Turnbull don't quite bring the same to the side.

Be interesting to see if he takes it, love the big man but would he be happy being Second choice for a third season?

Something tells me the answer would be no..

Especially if we bring a third striker in who's of quality..

Great news if he takes it, I said it a little while ago and broadly feel the same about Kyogo, they're both 'too old' and not quite prolific enough to really be getting a move to a bigger team, maybe a lower team in a stronger league but without european football, a sideways move overall, if they're happy enough here they could both be in for the long haul.

I wouldn't be against GG and Kyogo being here for the long run. I like them both as they each possess different qualities
and assets that they bring to the team. Add someone like Mmaee, and then we have three top class strikers, which I think any team needs to rotate with and cover for injuries and suspensions.

Aye that's my thinking, I don't think there's any chance Kyogo leaves this summer (I think he'll be here as long as Ange is here) but it's already been reported that teams are interested in Giakoumakis.

Wouldn't even fault the big man if he did leave in the Summer tbh, he'll be 28 and still not first choice for us unless something drastically changes. Could still fetch a fee of around £8-£10 million for him too.

Giakoumakis will surely have a good few years left on his current deal, what would be the point in offering him a fresh deal?

We done the same with Juranovic too. For all the talk of him rejecting a new deal, he still has 4 years left I'm sure, totally understandable why he wouldn't take it imo.

True, but also a sign we are learning lessons. No more waiting to the last year of a contract to see where a players head is at.

I wouldn’t even label it as that, it’s not lessons learned, it’s Ange knowing exactly what to do and a new CEO who doesn’t treat our club like he’s loaded a new save in Football Manager

This is us as a club that’s seperated the business guys from the football guys, but done in such a competent manner that we didn’t think it was that possible. And that’s Ange.

Now that Porteous is leaving Hibs on a free next summer, should we offer him a deal or maybe even bring him in the upcoming transfer window?

It’s a yes for me. Think it would be a good deal bringing him in on a free. He'll be a good rotation option and it's important to fill up our homegrown quota with decent Scottish talent.

Couldn't agree more, would hate to see him "represent" us.
Better suited for the other mob ( plus he's * so would be a good signing for them)

Yes, I think so. He would be our third best CB if we went for him imo.
