    Messi looks past it.

    Di Maria is utter pish.

Rest of the team look overweight anyway. They won't get out the group. Messi will "retire" again. LOL

Might struggle to get out the group, Poland and Mexico aren't mugs.

Lack of pace, susceptible from a set piece while having no threat themselves.

Don't even have any depth really when they make subs they only have Dybala who is worse up front than Martinez and worse in behind than Messi and similar to them in that he's smaller with no real pace either. Wide they have Alvarez who has a bit of pace and then their other back ups are are centre-mids and full-backs and centre-backs who are all kind of medicore wee guys.

No big pace merchant full-back or 6ft 4 striker or fast dribbling winger, going to have to break down every team they play in slow motion while trying to avoid getting done in the air.

Lewandowski will be rubbing his hands at balls being crossed in against Otamendi and Martinez. Even that Jimenez of Mexico/Wolves if he is fit he's been off form but he could do damage in the air.

Every person and their dog could see that Argentina were lacking someone coming deep and getting the ball off the defence. Scaloni should be sacked for this mid tournament. Horrendous display.

I wouldn’t be shocked if they go out at the group stage. Very very poor.

That was a sore one their player took off his own keeper. Commentator said they're trying every trick in the book but I'm not sure that was intentional.

Argentina were pish man, even Messi not gonna be able to make a difference to that, none of them turned up. I'm sure they lost their first game at the 1990 world cup but made the final, but they were awful today, not sure that's happening this year.

They have Correa and Alvarez both who are better options than di maria, also the only real preparation Argentina did before the WC was a glamor friendly against the UAE which has come back to bite them in the *

I hope somebody is videoing this for Ange. Ok we wouldn't get away with some of the Saudi aggression, but that's how we need to play.
Covert half chances and take no * prisoners

***** Just to clarify I mean for Ange to use in coaching sessions, not for him to learn from. He might even have vidoed it himself, but hopefully he's enoying a well earned beer and a barbie ******

I thought they'd have took Di Maria off for Alvarez at HT so he could run in behind down the right and cut it back but they put him on the left but they played him left which was a bit weird.

Think even then Correa and Alvarez are kind of average as well, hard working wee solid * but not really dribblers or too skilled on the ball. Joaquin Correa and Lo Celso who are injured are a bit slicker on the ball and more creative they'll probably miss them especially Lo Celso who done a Callum McGregor type role of knitting things together and ability to carry the ball forward from midfield.

The number 4 for Saudi Arabia was phenomenal. Hope our scouts are watching.

Aye few injuries. Was already gonna be a fair amount of added time then the Saudi keeper tried to kill one of his defenders.
