Both unbelievable finishes. No real pace on either, just pure precision. Haksabanovic had to dig it out from under his feet as well, it was top drawer.

I said in another thread, that with Haksa starting to score on top of Jota Abada etc I wasn't too worried about our lack of CL goals.
If we can add a defensive midfielder and a CB too our fire power I think we can make a decent fist of our next CL campaign

 

Good point, but don't think he's a winger, he doesn't really have the pace for it and isn't the type to hit the byeline and get the ball in, he's perfect in a 10 role, but definitely on the left, you know he'll check back. I'd prefer him just off the front. Loves a fake shot!

Would have been a loan, no doubt. I see so much chat around how much money we've supposedly spent, but you look through the squad and almost every player has been a ridiculous bargain. Hatate, O'Riley and Haksa all for around £5m.

 

I don’t even think we have seen half of what Sead is capable off and he predominantly has looked class.

I think as he gets up to speed, forms on field relationships with team mates he will be exceptional. The guy has a great record for providing assists and creating chances for team mates. He also has a good strike from distance which we haven’t seen yet. Add to that he has a very good work rate and a tenacity about him for a wide player.

 

I think he would be much more suited to the middle of the park. In a 10 role. Much more to come from him though.

 

You can definitely see why he was seen as a wonder kid a few years ago

I love all our players, but you put Jota and Haskobanovic either side of a clinical striker abd we could win everything
