Just seen the Prince of Wales telling the English players the whole country is behind them.

Prince of Wales but wanting England to pump Wales in the group stage, unbelievable.

If you’re the France manager you are absolutely * raging at that, one of their best attackers done in training like that. Fancied him to absolutely tear it up there too, guy is a frightening player.

Looked like his studs got stuck in the ground and he twisted his own knee. Would need to consult var to be sure.

    Penalty rangers.

I think that is exactly what he did. I think that's what happens when you hear about people getting injured in training.

Agree with this all the way.

Breaks my heart, the WC is normally something I follow day and night.

Will watch lower leagues and the rugby until the monstrosity is over. Will switch channels this Saturday, Burton v Plymouth and Scotland v Argentina is fine by me.

All these self righteous English commentators who said WC shouldn’t be in Qatar should tell their employers that they will boycott the matches.
Wonder how that will go down.
Maybe ALL matches involving hosts should be blocked from being shown in UK

That will be problematic after Qatar bribe all the refs to get to the final

There’s the ‘England players meet migrant workers to hear how well they’ve been treated’ propaganda guff..,

… expect the pipeline of this sort of Pish to open to full flow over the next week.

    Don't give a * about this WC.
I wouldn't mind if it turned into a total disaster on all possible levels (bar actual people suffering)
I don't watch tv anyway so it's gonna be fairly easy to stay away from absorbing any of it.

Counting days to watching Celtic again

Messi and Argentina have a great chance to go all the way here. Hopefully this is his moment.

Di Maria is back and got a couple of goals in a friendly yesterday which is massive for them. Lo Celso ruled out will be a miss but they’ve got that Mac Allister who’s one of the best mids in the Prem at the moment to replace him so should be fine.

Defence is a bit more recognised than it has been in previous years as well. Romero, Martinez and Otamendi all decent options.
