A Champions League campaign that we never really got going in. Flashes of excellent play throughout but wildly naive at times. That said the fact McGregor and Jota missed the two biggest games at home(winnable games with a full team) hampered us. Add in CCV tonight and that is us without our best three players. Overall a disappointing campaign interspersed with some good moments in games but tinged with regret.

Need to improve our decision making final 3rd , composure ,and positional play when counter attacked , sometimes I feel we need extra man in midfield, when we attack most of our midfield are sucked into it ,we lose possession and you see hatate chase back the full length of the park ,that shouldn't be happening, it's no wonder he can't finish a game .

 

Big man would have bundled juranovic oot the way with his pinkie and slotted home the penalty aswell, so 2-0 Celtic

In the end, you could see that our inability to take our chances or pick out that final ball had become a monkey on our backs we just couldn't shake. It looked like the players felt a sense of inevitability that the chances weren't going to fall.

Ah well, as others have said, lots of positives to take for next year. Apart from a 10 minute spell around their 4th goal, we continued to try to play and created opportunities right till the end.

Hitting the ball straight to the keeper time after time is nowhere near good enough, but I was glad that the player's heads didn't drop and they didn't simply try to minimise the damage. We gave it a go, came up short and need to improve. Now go win the league and build for another crack at it.

I honestly don't care that she's a woman, that performance was horrendous and the decisions made should see anyone up for review, no matter their gender or their job title. That is just inept to *.

Wasn’t surprised at the Leipzig score, the only surprise for me is how the * did shaktar pump them 4-1 in Germany and draw with Real Madrid

Proud of my team tonight, despite the scoreline.
Showed skill, desire, and some technical ability. I honestly believe the scoreline didn`t reflect the difference between the two teams.
We are a young team with some exceptional players who will benefit from this experience, and I am confident of winning the league this year and making an improved effort in next years Champions League. In Ange we trust.

Yes - I was no fan of Gordon Strachan but he knew how to set up a team to be very difficult to beat - The much criticised Neil Lennon was capable of that in Europe also

I think if we want to do anything in Europe next season we need to break our transfer record and sign a 10 million striker and a better goal keeper and a couple of class midfielders .

and when opponents break on us, let the players at the back take the responsibility to defend and if we win the ball early they can play it back up to our attacking players that are now in good positions to score
