For those who are in love.....
I posted some long post and why I believed it should be a changed lineup to give some other's a go in a dead rubber. Then thought nah fuckit....maybe we can go and get something there..

They drew 1 each at the weekend and are only a point clear, playing a tricky away derby just after us. They'll play a weaker side and might need a win to secure top spot but Leipzig at Shakhtar isn't a gimme..

    Hart

    Juranovic
    Carter-Vickers
    Jenz
    Taylor

Abildgaard (Mooy doesn't have the leg's for this. Think Abildgaard gives us more steel)
    O'Riley
    Hatate

Jota (needs minute's anyway but get him back in)
    Kyogo
Maeda (will need his pace. He's been better recently)

Even getting a point would put a better gloss on the group. Would mean we got something in 3 out of our 6 games..

Hopefully we can put on a show with no pressure and get something. No injuries please..

Polis in Madrid are *. I was over there when we played Atletico a few year back. Their fans were actually sound but the polis were * of the highest order.

Not expecting much but probably men vs boys display 5-0 or 6-0 to the home side. * it.

Play as many of our second team as possible, three big games before the World Cup more important than this.

Just been told the kick off time. Didn't even notice it in the title of this thread when posting before. Hate them early kick offs ffs in Europe and don't think anyone does. Rushing home from a job to get to the pub in time although if we win, more time to let some steam off celebrating!

Really interested to see what Ange does here.

He completely threw the towel in in the second leg against Bodo. Will he do the same against Real Madrid as we're already out or will he put our our strongest to possibly get a result.

I'm not really too fussed Tbf. Both have their positives.

I'm not fussed about this game if I'm being honest. Absolute dead rubber.

Not a fan of this approach, regardless of it being a dead rubber. Even with our strongest team out it could be a struggle to keep it respectable.

I’m kind of in the same boat mate. I do want to see some players rested, but then I’d like Jota to play as minutes will do him good. However, if we were to rest too many and get a bit of a gubbing, would it have a negative effect on the team? That’s my concern, because we seem to have got back in the groove recently. We only have three games to go before the WC and plenty players will get a chance to get a break, so I think momentum is more important just now than resting players with how close the break is. I’m not against changing a couple, but I’m not wanting 5 or 6 dropped.

Ferguson effectively got United to buy Ronaldo straight after they played Sporting in Lisbon. Jota will tear them a new one, it'll be reminiscent of when Ronaldinho strolled it and got a standing ovation in the Bernabeu. Perez will be on the phone Thursday morning to sign him, so lets just keep him on the bench :60:

Think we should be putting out a strong side without risking anyone who isn't 100%. The experience of going up against Real could be a good learning experience.

    Hart
    JJ - CCV - Jenz - Taylor
    O'Riley
    Haska - Hatate
    Abada - Kyogo - Maeda
Would have went for Jota, but he's just back from injury, let him come on as a sub. Maybe bring Starfelt on later to get him some minutes too.

Backups out on the field. Maybe start Ralston as well- he deserves a CL game.

I’d give one or two lads a chance but * weakening the team majorly, it would be like lambs to the slaughter.

It is as you say a dead rubber but at the same time I don't want to see us get a doing like the zombies have been getting in Europe. Given the kind of squad rotations that Ange has been doing in this packed schedule he can easily put out a strong side and change half of it for the weekend and I think we will likely see something along those lines pan out.
