If the instruction was to get the ball out wide to the slowest player in the world and watch him feint a cross with his right foot before aimlessly floating it in with his left then we played it to a tee.

Just cannot take to him in the slightest, he has his uses but playing in our midfield shouldn’t be one of them.

As someone rightfully said, he's the exact opposite of an Ange player in the engine room..

We could and need far better than him. He's basically here to wind down, take the sting out of game's and control domestic one's when we're comfortable and the opposition tire/don't press..

I think he's awrite. The players all panicked at the end imo. The subs are * but let's be honest, our best men was on the pitch. Your only dropping qaulity with the subs. We really need to be up by that point before bringing them on.

He’s the managers blind spot imo. McCarthy would do a similar job to him, except he actually has a wee bit of dig about him.

Elite level players in the champions league must watch him waddle onto the park then do things at a snails pace and think we’re playing a * who’s won a competition or something.

I still prefer him well over McCarthy. He's fine for the league.

I like him generally but he was chronic tonight. Lacked any urgency

he's obviously getting the benefit of the pals * with Ange, only here so he can be fit for the world cup. i'd rather play McCarthy.

I thought he done well when he came on, put in 2/3 dangerous balls and was well involved him and Forrest made a difference when they came on down the right.

Mooy has created multiple chances and had assists this season, McCarthy has created maybe a couple chances in total since he joined. I agree Mooy was terrible tonight, but comparing the two in terms of creative output is mad.

The ball kept going to Mooy when he came on because he was one of our only chances of creating something based on who we had on the pitch. And that's the bigger concern. Concentrating solely on Mooy's shortcomings in light of that is kind of like rearranging deckchairs on the Titanic or missing the wood for the trees.

There was no real impetus or drive in that side after Hatate and Haksabanovic went off. Not having Jota and McGregor available massively didn't help, but to do more than just compete at this level we need more dynamism and athleticism in the squad.

I was one of those who said he's better than Rogic.

I still hold that view. This forum regularly pilloried Rogic, too.

A agree mate McCarthy s starting to become a better player the less he play s in some people s eyes, apart from winning the ball in the last minute off a guy * with cramp v st Johnstone for bernabi to cross in the last minute winner, hes did absolutely * all in any match hes played in, mooy is a carthorse but but has far better range of passes than McCarthy and is more comfortable on the ball than McCarthy

I'm going to need you to talk me through that one because Rogic last season was creating and assisting and scoring important goals (important being the key word, getting us goals when we are smashing teams 6-1 is great, bailing us out when we need a win badly is even better which Rogic did repeatedly last year)

Mooy was involved in all 4 goals Saturday. I'd say that was a fairly important win.
