Nah you’re wrong, expected us to land a difficult group (as we normally do) and put in a few spirited performances, maybe get 3 points. When the draw was made i thought great, easiest group we’ve ever had by a long stretch, i thought we’d get third place. In this group we haven’t really competed at all, we’re out of Europe altogether pretty much after 4 games. More importantly though, something has completely changed with this team since Warsaw, we look a shadow of the team we were, Ange has to sort this fast.

One of the problems is our descision making and mindset at this level. Mooy had a great chance to shoot but choose to try a pass into the box. That may work against the poor defenders week in, week out in the SPFL, 90% of the time it will come off. But not at this level against quality defenders who will read it, getting the shot off would have been the better option. There were many descisions like that througout the game

I agree that Ange needs to be a little more tactically astute but he has told us he's not doing it, which is becoming a bit infuriating at times. If we had better players, it'd be fine.

Maccabi and Brugge have taken hammerings over the years, finishing way behind the other teams. They've taken years to do what they're doing now. This is our first Champions League group for five years.
