CCV back is the big plus, but Jenz out is not good. Welsh and Bernabei are weak links. At least it's SPL so we should be getting it done. Time to see if the lads have the mental strength to get over midweek and losing Cal.

Ralston, Bernabei, Haksabanovic, Abada, GG & CCV all starting. Making so many changes backfired when we went to St Mirren, but hopefully learned a few things from that day. But lets get a win. Would like to have GG get a goal or two here. Curious to see how they line up, with only the 2 out and out MF named there, with 3 wingers... maybe switching and rotating between the 3 of them... idk?

With so many games coming, especially Tuesday being so crucial and must win if we're to have any chance of still being in the CL after Xmas, and indeed even EL if finish 3rd in the group... but that is all context for another day...

I was happy with the line up at St Mirren and proved wrong.
    Hopefully I'll be wrong again.

If they wear grey it won't clash with the blue of StJ, compared to how it did of the white with black of StM. But they may just wear the Hoops, idk. They have when they've played away to StJ before.

After Ange's "intervention" I fully expect a performance here.

Wonder if Hatate or O'Riley will sit, O'Riley has played there a lot before us..

I see he is on the bench , I am unsure he is ready to start with having so little game time coming on as a sub, he didn't overly impress midweek when he came on, found it difficult with the pace of the game

I assumed Hart was the vice captain ?

Thank * CCV is back, I thought he would still be a game or two away from starting.

You know what? Different yet interesting. Think that'll be a cracking team.

Think it might be O'Riley sitting deep & Haksabanovic taking up his position.

CCV is a massive bonus but what is worrying is 2 goalkeepers on the bench, are we that depleted? No Jenz or Taylor, hopefully just given a complete rest

    Think that is the formation.

Abildgaard I don't think is yet match fit, which won't work with that formation is my guess as to why he is on the bench.

If we can go a few ahead I'd expect him to come on second half to gain some fitness.

The other thing to consider is that McDiarmid Park has only witnessed 5 goals total in 4 league games this season - 6 goals in 6 games total (including League Cup games).

It means that it has not been easy to score there for anyone, when considering that 3 of those goals came in 1 game (when StJ beat StM 3-0), meaning just 3 goals in total over 5 games outside of that one result. Not easy for the home team and not easy for Away sides either, with St J playing with such a tight compact defence.

Very happy with that team, Haksa in the middle and likely Hatate sitting. Some attacking set up.
