Folk say it as a joke, hit the training ground and just practice hitting shots on target all day. I know Ange knows what he's doing, but surely it's an idea?! Get Hatate to teach folk how to belt a shot on target. We should have scored about 8 or 9 today.

We might challenge the red as Welsh looked to be covering

Offt that wasn’t great we were lucky Motherwell had no intention of scoring themselves.

It’s similar to last season we are rubbish at home the majority of games bar playing the Huns.

The end of the game only highlighted again our complete lack of nous when it comes to game management. Calmac had to take one for the team because of needless slack play and injury time was particularly badly handled. Have we not heard of keeping the ball in the corner? We got a fk about 94mins and just gave it straight to Motherwell and moments later when ball bobbling around in our area we had about 3/4 chances to clear it upfield but tried to play out each time and were nearly caught out. We badly need CCV back, not just for his ability but for his organisation skills and calming influence.

Don’t like slating any Celtic player but the downgrade from ccv to Welsh is massive, like someone trading their iPhone 14 pro max for a Nokia silver back, Welsh isn’t good enough for Celtic, he’s a st mirren to Aberdeen standard player at best

Tbf mate last season at home , aswell as skelpin the Huns 3-0, we skelped Motherwell 6-0, st Johnstone 7-0 and 2-0 st Mirren 6-0 Dundee 6-0, hearts 4-1, Ross county 4-0 and 3-0, Also beat st Mirren and Hibs 2-0 without laying a glove on us and were unbeaten at home the whole season , granted like every season had a few odd goal wins from coming from behind and with 10 men, so to say we were rubbish at home for the majority of games is utter nonsense

Finishing and composure are two totally different attributes.

You can whip as many mitres in to the top bin in training as you like, nothing will prepare the players for making the right decisions in and around the box. Only experience.

    It really is.

    McGregor is our best midfielder.

Hatate is great. Easily MOTM today, but it was his loose pass that caused McGregor to get sent off.

We were garbage, but the 3 points is all that matters at the end of the day. Top of the league. :)

Was it a straight red card? I was too busy with my kid at the time.

It was never a straight red. There was another man coming across.

Nah Hammy, looked like a straight red. Clever foul from McGregor tbh, could easily have been a goal for them and at that stage there was no chance of us getting another.

But he was sent off for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity, was he not?

If the other player could get across, it's not denying a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Edit: also, we were denied a stone wall penalty and their player would've been given a second yellow.

I think our attacking play has been shocking all season.even in the 9-0 we were very wastefu! ,could of scored a few more .We have scored a * of lot of worldies this season and today it took one to save us today again ,as great as they are to see we shouldn't be depending on them

Was that the one on Kyogo? Thought that could easily have been a penalty aye.

The McGregor red card, if that was us say on Wednesday against Leipzig 2-1 down through on goal you’re screaming for that.

Our attacking play has been shocking all season? Mate we’ve beat the huns 4-0, Dundee utd 9-0 and Killie away 5-0, our gd is 13 more than the huns. That’s a ridiculous post. We can be slightly wasteful in front of goal at times, but that’s because we are so good at attacking, we make so many opportunities.

    100% screaming for it.

However, if I watched Match of the Day and saw it, I would've felt it wasn't a clear goalscoring opportunity.
