I agree, I do think the St Mirren game as awful as it was, was one of those games I don’t see repeated this weekend. Even with the same CB pairing, the rest of the team will be better.

It is Europe that worries me if that is our two CBs.

I said after the ST Mirren loss we could have done without the International break , going into it on a defeat is never good. It now looks like we may have to deal with a few injuries as well, Motherwell game is all about getting the 3 points, the performance is secondary, We need to get that defeat out our system and get momentum back quickly

All things considered we should still be in good nick to deal with this game.

I know we got injury doubts but not to the extent we will see a midfield identical to one that started against St Mirren.

Despite the weather in Scotland, and the apparent difficulties with a culture change, if your a foreigner and step onto the lennontown pitch, your jaw must drop.

Stunning backdrops we've got, especially in comparison to some other sides training centres.

Id never make it as a Celtic player. If the sun peeped out Id be laying out a blanket, cracking open tins of beer and asking who's doing a cigarette run to the shops.

No need to panic as I think we will be strong enough to beat Motherwell. Bizarre team selection against St Mirren cost us and as much the changes in Midfield as anything. Easy to say the squad is strong enough, it is, but a wholesale change upset the dynamics and cost us. Welsh was unfairly singled out but it was a poor and lacklustre display.

Fully expect a strong line up tomorrow with Hatate/ O'Reilly/ McGregor in the middle to control the match for us.

I agree, it was the mangers decision to play Mooy that caused the defeat. We were too slow in our play because Mooy was the sitting player. Doubt Ange will make that mistake again. For this reason I don’t see the new boy starting either, I’d expect Ange to go with tried and trusted midfield.

    Hopefully a convincing win here.

Delighted we are back. The overreaction to the St mirren game has been nauseating.

First game I’m missing this season, last time I missed Motherwell at home we won 5-0. Edouard with a hat trick.

The big decision for me is should we go with Jenz and Welsh or play Abilgaard beside Jenz. Sooner we get back to the CCV and Starfelt partnership, the better.

    Hart

    Juranovic Jenz Welsh/Abilgaard Taylor

    McGregor

    O’Riley Hatate

    Jota Kyogo Haskabanovic

    Hart

    Taylor

    Abildgaard
    Calmac
    O'Riley

    Maeda
    Kyogo

Abildgaard in the give a bit more protection to CBs
Keep Hatatate fresh for last 30 min. If it's comfy take off Abildgaard, if it's tight sacrafice O'Riley.

Abada deserves to start, but I think Maeda and Kyogo have a better understanding.

I'll take a poor performance and 1-0 win.
