* me. It cant be understated how much of a * disaster this is.

I actually believe Starfelts turnaround and consequent firm has been down to his partnership with CCV. So * knows which Starfelt will turn up. The new "good butvthe odd brain fart" Carl, or the early "* is starfelt doing" one. Fingers crossed that Starfelt and Jenz can click in the meantime, but its really anyones guess

I dont care what anyone says, Welsh is a disaster zone, kills our play out from the back and is positionally suspect, allows himself to be ragdolled by anyone of equal or comparative size.

As has been stated by our venerated and oft accurate sage Mr Shelby... Get another CB in pronto. Its essential imo.

 

If I was to pick one player not to be injured, it’s probably him. Could be a disaster.

 

Tbf he was never injured last season. He was probably due one but it doesn't make it easier.

Need the medical team to work wonders.

 

Starfelt will probs get injured after playing one game which has already happened this season

I actually reckon that Welsh is good on the ball and playing out from the back.

 

massive loss when he's out and starfelt and heading in to massive games with Welsh at back gives me the fear.welsh alright at parkhead when we're playing lesser teams and dominating ball but against better teams he's simply not good enough.

 

hopefully abildgaard will be ready for action and be as good at protecting the defence as we are all expecting.im not panicing yet jenz has been brilliant so far an starfelt cant be that far away

 

Comfortable enough with Jenz and Welsh at centre back for the home game against Motherwell. Provided we don't make as many changes as we did against St Mirren. Try and give Starfelt the best chance of coming back for the Leipzig game. CCV is a huge miss though.

 

No doubt Ange will confirm he’s only out 3 weeks during his PC today

 

If we have no choice but to start Welsh with Jenz at the weekend then it's important we keep continuity elsewhere. If we do that we should be ok.

 

Is that the rumour “6 weeks”?? Absolutely murder if it is that duration.

 

Was 4 to 6 weeks from the st mirren game what I was told anyway

 

Said it before but I'm incredibly worried about a Welsh-Jenz partnership going into our crunch games vs Leipzig.

We probably need 4 points from those games to have European football after Christmas. Without Starfelt too (who takes a while to get going) it's looking pretty ominous unless we absolutely blow them away similar to our wins against the huns.

Its a very big ask tbh
