    Was in a pub up Partaig earlier with the mrs after dinner, wasn't really paying attention but big cheer in front of me and realised that was them pumped. Such a shame. Always root for them as well, being a UK team and all that.

    And bears don't * in the woods.

    Southgate is an awful manager. So negative and uninspiring it's unreal.

    Had a free run at the WC and almost * it against Columbia before bottling it to an ordinary Croatia side despite taking the lead after 5 minutes. Then at the Euros had an even easier run and bottled it on home soil after taking the lead 2 minutes into the final. The guy is just a loser.

    Don't think they'll get out of their WC group. Even if they do, they'll get smashed silly by one of the big guns.

    As much as it pains me England have an amazing set of players, and quality players who can't get in the squad. With Southgate they are *. He's boring and negative, he must feel the luckiest man on Earth. I don't understand why he didn't try out some fresh faces, not even putting Toney on the bench. They haven't got the toughest WC group but I could still see them * it.

    Is Southgate on paper not been literally exceptional for them? A semi final of WC and final of the Euros. What on earth else do they genuinely expect?

    Nobody is winning anything with that team..

    The view is from their fans is that draws have been favourable at tournaments. They have a very strong squad, and they believe that they should get more. Also England fans believe they've won every tournament prior to it beginning.

    Faroe Islands got 8 points, they are better than the sum of their parts. Teams like them are no longer a walkover.
    However Turkey had won the group already so made little difference to them.

    Bosnia to beat Romania.
    Montenegro to win/draw vs Finland.

    Think that pretty much guarantees us promotion regardless of Ukraine result.
