On my 'to watch' list, although am a little tentative - hoping this isn't just the series version of 'Sid and Nancy' take on the Pistols.

Brilliant by Danny Boyle. Gets the whole time and mood perfect but don’t get caught up in the historical as it is from Steve Jones point of view.

I quite enjoyed it. Apart from the accents seemed a bit too posh. The guy playing Malcolm McLaren was pretty spot on. Apparently the band (minus John Lydon) came in and taught them stuff on the instruments too. As did Chrissie Hynd. Loved the end, never knew about that benefit gig for the firemen they done on Christmas day. Found the real footage from that day on youtube. Check it out

I took my time in convincing myself to watch this but it was a good watch apart from the cringe factor.
Having seen them live (yes I'm old) it's a great story ,it's hard to imagine they were only 18 at the time.
I loved the ending as would just about everyone on this board .
The green brigades banner is probably the biggest punk rock statement to happen in the last 45/50 years.
    Quite appropriate.
