Not a fan of walking or completely stopping when your own the ball. You’ll never get anywhere in Scottish football doing that. Especially at tight away grounds with the low block infront of you.

Hatate does it tbf but he has a lot more in his arsenal and you can tell he’s doing it to analyse his options not because he’s slow as *

That is very obviously what Mooy was doing yesterday, but there weren't any.

Mooy was moving at such a slow pace because he’s a slow footballer

No, but this is the thread that pertains to that one player only. Hence the criticism here of that one player only., who was so * had to be hooked at half time.

If you look in other players specific threads you will also see them getting similar, proportional criticism.

The biggest individual fault for yesterday's defeat lies with the manager.

I think he does OK when he comes on, to see games out. Said before that he's a decent option to have to bring on to shore things up etc, but if players like Hatate and O Riley are fit, at least one of them needs to start and at the moment, I'd probably always have them both starting along with McGregor.

Him and Turnbull definitely don't belong in the same starting lineup. I think even having O Riley or Hatate along with Turnbull yesterday things could have gone differently, but with the pair of them there was an obvious issue with pace coming from the middle of the park.

Hattate isn't even fast he's just absoloute class at turning and spotting a runner so fast it doesn't allow the midfield time to reposition to cut the passing angle out.

Mooy on the other hand floats around the middle slower than paint drying passing it 4 yards.

Tbh the blend was wrong, not Mooy. Him in it along with Turnbull was bad decision, don't know who's slower. And calmac been off it last couple of games too.

I like him but he can slow a game down, at Parkhead aye, but you need to mix it up.

He is a good 2nd half player. Im delighted having him as a squad player, but we won't see him starting games again. Im 100% sure of that.

He absolutely shouldn’t be keeping Abildgaard out the team

Geez there's a lot of confusion in this thread.

How can Abildgaard Mooy keep himself out of the team?

Skimming through this thread of the last two days or so, not sure you've picked up the rest of the posters comments bud.

No one's blaming mooy for the defeat, it's a collective. One man who takes the collective flack along with them all is Ange for starting Turnbull and mooy together.

Mooy, as others have said, clearly is a good player and has good attributes, great eye for a ranged pass, able to slow the game down (good and bad), but overall the style he is showing us this season, he's just not suited to our game plan. Specially not as a starter where we rely more on tempo, intensity, pressing and need someone to zip a ball through the eye of s needle, not slow it down to then loft a ball long.

Not sure I've seen one person out and out day he's * and to * off, but most tend to he agreeing that he's a good player, just not quite our style.
