Yep - there’s no need to go deep into it. He got the team wrong today with far too many changes.

I’m sure he won’t do it again and we’ll romp the league this season. A wee reality check for the squad might not be the worst thing.

The only saving grace for today will be if Ange has realised he can't make wholesale changes, even against the likes of St Mirren. That team selection and performance today was of a manager and players who thought all they had to do was turn up, not that they'd ever admit it.

I'd be dragging Turnbull, Mooy and Welsh in by the * neck tomorrow, sitting them down and explaining this is why they don't start. Too * slow, passive and toothless.

Tell them it'll be a while before they start again, * miles aff it.

Always hate losing the 100% record. Makes it even more devastating when it comes at the hands of * like St Mirren.

Can't understand the amount of changes he made, particularly in midfield.

Mooy, Turnbull and McGregor is a grim midfield trio. Maeda on the left doing * all, Kyogo instead of Giakoumakis was baffling as well.

Wrong team and wrong formation. Out coached today.

Looked better once we switched to flat back 3 but by then it was far too late.

Takes the entire blame today. Robinson must have been delighted when he saw the starting 11.

It felt like some * was just dragged off the street and put in charge for the day. It’s hard to explain what that even was

People talking about the player choice I think are right but only half right.

Ange talked a couple days ago about the need to rotate because of the schedule. He's right but we've changed 6 today, many of whom haven't had a start all season, haven't played together, etc. Players like Turnbull, Ralston, Welsh etc. should have had more time by now if we're going to rely on them playing together in games like this. You can't just chuck them all in at once and hope for the best.

Ange was criticised last year for not rotating individuals enough and for me this is an extension of that tendency.

The whole team including subs were poor today not one player gets pass marks.

Win the game first then make the subs to rest the players although there was no need to rest them

We should be able to make those changes & still cope with teams like St Mirren. Our squad is and needs to be big enough to cope with it.

    Gutted.

He got it horrifically wrong today. Its borderline arrogance to make that many changes away from home.

Was loads more of them. McGregor all day. Taylor. Jenz. Kyogo doing his hide and weak impression all day..

    The whole lot of them..

I agree. But rather than rotate 6 players at once - many of whom haven't had a start at all this season - we should be rotating 1 or 2 players in a given league game. They'd be more up to speed, more cohesive with the rest of the squad, and we'd have fewer tired legs among the starting 11.

No need for an inquest, we know the mistakes that were made and ange just addressed them himself in the interview.
Dust ourselves down and thrash the * the next time we play them .

I said in the match thread that one of the likely goals of the first half of the season is to blood in the entire squad, to get us to a point where we don't need that "strongest" 11 to feel supremely confident. It was evident in the team selection that this is indeed the goal. Sadly it needs more work than we may have thought
