Was wanting him to start, but he slowed the game down far too much.

I think he's perfect for seeing games out, but not starting them.

 

Just don't see it.

 

I don't think he's a pointless signing.

He is handy to come on when the game is won and we want to see it out.

But should never be starting.

 

Nah, not feeling it about him.

 

Wants 3-4 touches when 1-2 would suffice.

Slow in the press, almost always 2nd to the ball. Today was not the day to start him.

 

Well i said Mooy would let us down when it mattered and i was right.

He is not up to in this role. Far too slow and laboured over the ball. Should never have been put this position. Only useful when protecting a lead.

That would be everyone of them and most notably the manager with a total brainfart today.

 

Did himself no favours today going forward. Don't want to see him start again unless there's an injury crisis.

 

Everyone was * today. We needed to start with pace but the midfield had none today. I think Mooy is suited to bigger pitches, as are many but he seemed severely hampered. He shouldn't have been picked.

 

Think he is a player who you bring on to see the game out.

I’ve had no issues with his cameo role so far but today he was absolutely *, not the only one to be fair.

Think we need players who can put in a shift and have good engines with our style.

 

Thought Mooy was poor today but agree it's harsh to single him out as definitely not alone there. Just too negative a midfield for me today meant we just didn't get forward. Which is something I'd ask questions of Ange more than the players he choose.

 

Honestly does he do anything remotely different from what James McCarthy does and gets slaughtered for ?

 

From where i sat Mooy controlled the pace of the play.

Offered * all today tbh.

 

He would have been better of doing that by persuading Rogic to change his mind and stay instead of his hardman "I don't beg players if they want to go they can go" routine.

 

He is an upgrade on McCarthy in my view.

Any time I've seen him in a cameo role this season he's done his job effectively and it has helped the team. McCarthy, on the other hand, has always looked like he was playing with arthritis.

Mooy should never be starting however.
