No chance they’ll do that, because it would need to be everybody or nobody.

They’ll just ramp up how much they’ll watch us expecting it. Already seen it a bit, Liverpool as well has been getting that.

If this is our last game before the international break then put out a full strength team

    Just can't get enough
I don't think Jenz will be our only "back up" player to be called on this season.
They will need game time so they are sharp when called upon

All those points make sense. Just wouldn't want too much disruption. Important that we get the win and keep the pressure on th zombies.

    Calmac Hatate

    Abada GG Jota

Couple changes to freshen it up but nothing major.

I'd go something like that, Jota looked tired that last game after an hour. Even though he will get a break during the Internationals would like to have Hatate, O'Riley, Jota, Kyogo coming off the bench for a change.

Haksabanovic definitely starts for me. He showed glimpses on Wednesday but was rightly hooked - need to get him some domestic games to build his endurance up. Same for Mooy - needs a start, and the lads who won't be playing during the internationals could have a run out too, Bernabei etc.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record...

Games like St Mirren away are exactly the sorts of games where we need to see Mooy at the base with McGregor and Hatate further forward in the midfield. Mooy's precision with Calmac's energy and Hatate's technical style will tear holes in the bus parking defences of the SPL.

Yeah need to get a couple of the fringe players a game and maybe the last 15 mins for the new signing who plays defensive midfield if we are winning well as these guys need games .

I suppose when we look at the course of this season and our strength in depth, it would figure that one of the goals at this stage is to diversify the starting 11 and get the "2nd string" (for lack of a less unflattering term) players used to playing with each other. I'm guessing Ange's vision is to get to the stage where pretty much anyone in the squad should be able to slot in when called upon - actually we're pretty much at that stage if not very close to it

Cannot wait for this man. The inevitable gammon furore that will ensue will be marvellous.
