Definitely. Progress in the champs league is where we need to be or it’s rinse and repeat. Buy players sell them after a year, get a good manager lose him after a year.. etc etc genuinely don’t get the fans who want us to aim for 3rd in the grouo

 

I'm definitely in the glass half full camp for now given it's been Madrid and our first away game so far and we've performed brilliantly and as you say created bucket loads of chances in those two games.

If it continues into the Leipzig game where we are disappointed with the result there I agree it'll be two points dropped tonight, but based off performance alone I'm optimistic about our campaign just now.

 

Ange will go through them for how much we slowed down in the last few minutes. Both teams looked happy for a draw.

 

We are getting better every game . look at last weeks result ,we are improving daily.

We are in the Champions league playing against some of the top teams in the world.
No disrespect to SPL, we have to play teams that our level , or above our level so we can come up to their level.

We just need the finishing touch to bring us up a level , we know we are good , other teams know it now, we can get there .

 

Just looking at the stats we had 8 shots on target ffs, they had 2, i do think hart should have saved mudryks effort too.

 

Aye I remember him there, played good football but their defence was hopeless.

 

Tonight was must not lose, and we didn’t. Keeps us right in the group, but it’s hard not to be disappointed given the amount of chances we had. The Giakoumakis one is the big one, at that level, that simply has to go in. Loads to be positive about, I just hope we are talking about glorious failure come the end of the group, because we have enough about us to get out of this group in my opinion.

it's a strange one this. before the game I was a wee bit apprehensive as this team had slaughtered RB Leipzig and would have quite easily settled for a point, but watching the game I felt we could have taken all 3pts on any other day, but a point away from home in the CL is a good result. so I'm trying not to be too disappointed.

 

Fee very deflated after that tonight we had a huge opportunity to put ourselves right in amongst it tonight and failed again to take our chances. Dominated about 75% of the game, lost another very cheap goal.

We should have won that comfortably 3/4-1 but missed massive chances again. Giakoumakis just has to score and Maeda too after him. Jota just didn’t have that magic touch tonight, Jenz scuffs one when he should score, some really poor efforts from good positions on the edge of the box. Haskabanovic has to pick out Kyogo when he kicked it straight back to the keeper.

I also don’t know what Hart was doing at their goal some finish but he stands up it hits him.
