Benzema 1st half, they made a sub at half time and then a 3rd in the 2nd half

 

Still rather lose playing football as opposed to parking the bus.

We've had our chances which is the main thing and had we converted two or three then this is a different game. Fine margins at this level as we all know.

The biggest disappointment for me is how the heads went down at 2-0. I know this is Real, but I expected better in that regard.

 

Don’t get me wrong it’s been an excellent performance for most of the game and we were very unlucky not to be winning.

I’d be hugely encouraged for Leipzig and Shakhtar, but we simply must do the basics of defending for the full 90. When a European team spots you’re not picking up their RB then you’re conceding a goal.

So disappointing because we had plenty of spare men.

 

The Madrid side worth hundreds of millions and that's what we are up against in the champions League and the chances we had you need to bury at this level .

Giakoumakis were he played it back in first minute was just as bad the other one with Abada were he could have took a couple of steps closer to goal and shot aswell you take them it changes dynamics of the game we can’t criticise team for conceding and let attackers off when they don’t do their job right

i think we needed those subs on 10 minutes earlier

 

No issue with losing to this lot but our marking for two of their goals was terrible and its not hard to avoid,just keep the concentration bhoys.

 

A bit of perspective, around 6 months ago we were getting our arses handed to us by bodo/glimt. This is real progress whatever way you look at it

 

I'm proud of them as they gave it a real go

 

Ridiculous. Dutd's "* collapsed" against AZ when the conceded 7 goals in about 40 mins.

We're playing the best team in the world mate and more than gave them a game.

 

So many positives tonight and thats the main thing for me. We tidy up the loose mistakes and we will do well.
