i think that aspect of keeping all players happy and not making noises, and getting those that begin to pipe up moved on etc is key to being a successful manager. A managers job is also to manage personalities... once a bad smell gets into the changing room it can be toxic...look to the darkside and the morelos lording it up with kebabs etc.. behind the scenes there is problems.

i watched psg v monaco on sunday - psg are a team of playboys and prima donnas they play and come across that way... talking of which, i am still amazed psv fluked through monaco... and then the keeper to spoon 2 x wobblers is just the luck they get. same way no haaland against them for 2 x games last season

when you look at lennon and all the antics, interviews in his last season at celtic, naming and shaming etc it is like day and night - in any workplace you want a manager to take a bullet for the workers / players (unless extreme circumstances).

ange conducts himself immensely, proud of his roots, his coaching philosophy and celtic and ange couldnt be a better fit for their history, respect and honour.

Enjoy the ride, give the CL a crack (if we come 3rd and get european football after christmas I would be very content) - if we get 2nd or 1st spot happy days!

Start things well with a good win on saturday - get the lead and dont look back hail hail

Big man's looked the business so far - controlled it and showed a nice range of passing.

He's playing very well. Obviously getting up to speed and looks a completely different player.

Gives us great options. Being able to play McGregor further forward, plus he could play as an 8 himself. We'll be able to rest Cal from time to time as well, especially when Mooy's fit enough to play 90 mins.

Another, more physical DM would be nice, but I'm starting to think a third striker (perhaps one who can also play out wide) is the priority. Lose Kyogo or GG to injury and we're down to just one plus Maeda, who himself is needed on the wing.

Controlling the tempo of the game at times and doing the dirty work. Still looks a bit rusty but you can see the experience he has and what he can bring.

He picks nice passes off both feet. Keeps play moving, composed. Could be a masterstroke signing.

Obviously everyone sees things differently but it was clear as day he was an upgrade on McCarthy from his 1st sub appearance I felt. Really like the look of him. Early days still but I think he may be an upgrade on Bitton given time. And in case anyone is wondering, I’m from Leith btw, not Australia. :50:
