That scoreline is utterly embarrassing for United, getting humped by a difference of 9 at Tannadice. Jack Ross must be in the depths of despair. Will be gorging myself on the highlights and fallout though.

A result like that has been on the cards since early last season. That was ruthless today. Some top notch goals in there as well. Hatate looks superb at the minute. So confident in his own ability, and chooses the right pass almost every time. I know a lot have wanted Giakoumakis in ahead of Kyogo, but even ignoring his goals today, Kyogo’s pressing and work rate is hard to leave out. I think it’s exactly what’s required next week as well against the huns. I would be targeting Sands next week and telling Kyogo to press him every time he is on the ball, because he will gift us possession.

Interesting to see how Ange lines up next week now. Hard to leave anyone out that started today. I think Maeda would have been a certainty to play next week, now I’m not sure though. Can you leave Abada out after today? Brilliant headache to have.

Had not achieved anything ? Seriously ? How do you think he got as good as he is as a manager/coach ?

Angeball in full flow, just a talented bunch of players on their game and enjoying their football.

Admittedly United were a shambles but we never gave them a second on the ball and some of the goals scored and football played was just a joy.

Let's scud these * 9-0 on Saturday as well bhoys.

Anyone notice the odd 10% of fans on this forum who like to come on and moan when we start poorly or someone not playing to well are absolutely no where to be seen or heard on the Dundee United thread today, aw the usual people absolutely delighted, won’t name names but yous guy’s know who I’m talking aboot

every forum member should be on waxing lyrical about that display, whether Dundee United are poor or not they are still an spl side, usually scores like that happen maybe going down to 10 men but was 11 v 11 and no even a penalty in sight

    Good point about Kyogo mate..

Before today Kyogo hadn't really done it over a full game for me like at his top class best from last season.....but today was Kyogo of old..

I would've had Jackie on to bully them but I think you're right, the wee man will harass them badly as him and Goldson can be slow on the ball or when trying to bring it out..

If we play anything like today, albeit the huns are miles better than United....I think we'll win by a couple..

We just have far too much variety and pace going forward, plus goals from all over to think we'll no score 2 or 3 in this..

I think GG is pretty decent at closing down tbh. Kyogo is the better of the two at doing that though.

I do feel like GG would be more of a handle as the huns backline have shown that they don't like a physical striker playing against them.

I don't mind who starts tbh. Both are really good options.

I gave Hatate a bit of stick at end of last season, but the boy was clearly shattered.

some of his long range passing today was sublime.

we were due to absolutely Angeball the * out of someone and today was the day

    an absolute joy to behold

You weren't the only one to be fair. Seen it loads..

Don't think many took in to account just how knackered he was after a full season in the J league..

    He's unbelievably good..

That way he turns with the ball and leaves his man behind is absolute class. Then he just zings them 70 yards on to the wingers toe.
